Which brings us to a new challenge at
Double D.
The challenge theme is May Flowers and using the
gorgeous mood board below and using the colors for inspiration.
I made a rather CAS but pretty card using the middle left photo for my inspiration.
I used a linen paper that I cut out the center with a
MFT Peek A Boo window die .
I placed a scrap piece of Lemoncraft Tiny Miracles under the window frame.
The CLD flowers were cut from a blue card stock (lightweight),
then I added blue chalk for a variation of color.
I used flower tools to cup them a bit.
Nuvo Crystal Drops Dandelion Yellow were added to the centers.
The leaves are olive branches also from CLD.
The sentiment was stamped with SU Marina Mist ink
and is also from SU, Warmest Regards set.
I cut two vellum butterflies and stacked them.
I hope you like my CAS card and that you will visit the
Double D Challenge blog to see all the gorgeous inspiration
my friends and teammates have for you!

Wow Diane! I'm sitting here enjoying all the wonderful details of your exquisite creation. Love the way you've coloured those blue blossoms and used your tool to "cup" them. Love the stitched details of your die-cuts. The stacked vellum butterflies almost seem alive and hovering over the background floral detail. A beautiful card!
