Hello Friends!!
I finally found some time to work on a few things.....
but I have to tell you, I have been struggling with getting creative...
it seems that when it is good, it's really good, but there are times
like now, where I just can't seem to like anything I do...
do you ever get like that, and if you do, how do you get yourself out of the "slump"??
I did however have this cute Penguin image sitting on my desk...
I had colored them with my TH Distress markers...
and saw the theme this week at Festive Fridays which is "whimsical"
I think these 3 little guys are the cutest little "whimsical characters" I have...
I had the snowflakes, already cut from my CLD snowflowers dies and had heavily
glittered them...these are the last, so need to spend some time doing more
as it sure is handy to have some of these things premade for when you need them!!
The background paper is a scrap left from last year, and the ribbon came on a package
I received last year...so fun to use up some things....
I sure hope this inspires me to get creative again!!!!

Those penguins are so absolutely adorable!! They are having so much fun skating!! Love the sparkle and the snowflakes!! The Santa ribbon is so fun!!
I frequently have bouts where I don't know what to create and when I do, I don't like it. I try to scan the net looking for inspiring projects to help out of the slump. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Watching youtube videos helps, too.
Have a great weekend :)

Oh those penguins are cute!!
Yes I often get in a slump ... the thing is not to let it worry you ... Nothing stays the same ... not even creativity ... I just trawl Pinterest and enjoy others creations till I'm ready again ... Sending hugs
Oh aren't these little guys cute! Love that 'Santa' ribbon ... awesome that you thought to keep it for repurposing!
I think we all have those TIMES when we either loose our mojo, get a bit burned out or just so caught up with life's issues to really be able to relax and freely create. See ... you're not the only one! LOL I think the other ladies suggestions are the way to go. Certainly worth a try! Hang in there!
Penguins are always cute, and this card is no exception!
Such an adorable card! The penguins are so happy and having a blast skating! Love the snowflakes!
I get in those slumps at times to. I sometimes just take a couple evenings and look at Pinterest, blogs, video's, those kind of things help a bit. Good luck! Your card is just darling-no loss of mojo here!

Hi Diane! I know what you mean about a creative slump...I can be on such a roll, and then all of a sudden, I don't wanna deal with it anymore! I just keep reading my favorite blogs, check out Pinterest, and Splitcoaststampers for inspiration! This card is really cute...those guys look like they're having fun! Would you be willing to link this up over at Jingle Belles, as they are donating $4 per "pink" card to the Susan G. Komen foundation? The linky closes tonight at 6 pm EST...I hope to see this there! :)
