Birds of A Feather

Have you missed me...LOL??
I have been gone since Thursday,
but before I left I finished this card 'just for fun'
for the challenge at City Crafters which is
I am Working on My PHD....
meaning 'Project Half Done'!

This card had been sitting in a bag of 'scrap' for about 2 years!
I decided to pull it out and see if I could do anything with it.
I had already stamped the birds with black embossing powder on vellum
and used my Copics to color on the backside of the vellum.
had added the stitching and burlap pieces
and there it sat...yep for at least 2 years..lol!

To finish I added twine, button, sequins and a sentiment.
not sure if it improved it much, but thought what the heck
it serves the purpose for the challenge.

This card will probably go to my aunt that is in a nursing home
as she has a huge fondness for birds!

I'll be back tomorrow with my card for the new Dies R Us challenge....stop back by!

Wow! I love that stamp! I'm having a thing for birds lately. I do have projects like this laying around, and I have a whole tablet of burlap paper which I've never used at all. I'm glad you finished this, 'cause I think it's cute, and you had fun playing the challenge!

Great use of the burlap for an unusual look that goes great with that fab bird image. Thanks for joining in at City Crafter. Marina DT
