You Brighten My Days

This is my blog post on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today!

Hi Diane with you today to show you one of our new stamps sets
that I just absolutely think is so beautiful!
Though the name is Christmas Candles, it also
has a beautiful Christmas Rose Spray included in the set,
which is what I am using today.
Christmas Candles
I started by using a new and amazing product called
and the color I used is Pure Platinum.
I used my 'finger tool' to apply to an embossed
card stock background.
You can see in the photo below the difference
it made on the top of the panel compared to the bottom half...
a beautiful sheen!
Christmas Candles
I set this aside to dry and it dries very, very quickly,
then die cut a few branches using Impression Obsession Pine Branch die.
I applied glue using Nuvo Large Glue Pen,
then sprinkling with glitter on that.Christmas Candles
While these were drying,
I stamped my image and colored with Copics.
I used the small Nuvo Glue Pen to apply glue and then
Gypsy Red Glitter to the Rose
and Parisian Mist glitter to the leaves.
I then fussy cut my image out.
Christmas Candles
I die cut a Cherry Lynn Designs Banner,
then applied (once again using my finger)
the Pure Platinum Mousse to it.
Once dry, I embossed my sentiment with Red Apple Embossing Powder.
Christmas Candles
I adhered the entire panel to red card stock, then added
a pretty red bow to finish.
This is really a gorgeous card and somewhat quick to make
for the upcoming Christmas holiday!
Christmas Candles
Once again here is the finished card.
Thank you for visiting with me today!

This is GORGEOUS! WOW that background is amazing and I LOVE the added sparkle you put to the rose image. PERFECT and you've inspired me to use those new SnS glue pens I bought at the EXPO ... great job my friend!

OMG, talk about gorgeous with the sparkly pine branches and shimmery embossed background! Not to mention the beautiful winter roses! There are so many products we can use to make our cards beautiful. It's hard to keep up and, seriously, I can't have them all. However, I did finally pick up three bottles of the Nuvo Crystals. Have I used them yet? No, but planning. At least they don't take up too much space in the stamp room, and the bottles are so pretty!

I do not know this product, but it gives a really lovely sheen to the background. I have previously used wax gilt for a similar effect. Super pretty card and thank you for playing along in The Flower Challenge, we hope to see you again soon, Lisa DT xx
