Fun With Animals

Some of the girls at Double D once again
got together to play another challenge and this time
the chosen challenge was

Pretty easy as goodness knows I have a ton of animals
(real and also in the craft room)

Since I am way behind in getting my craft room cleaned out
(I can only take so much at a time lol)
I took the super easy way out and grabbed an OLD
(and I mean old) SU stamp set that was not only staring me in the face
waiting for it's permanent home,
but a NBUS at that!

Now to the honest part, when I stamped the sentiment directly on
my card (the last step of course) I got a line of ink
that shouldn't be there...cry cry like a baby...ugh!!

So to save and not redo as time is short,
I punched a circle, inked it and stamped the sentiment on that...
NOT what I was looking for, but it has to make do and now
I sort of like it as it does make the intended 'thank ewe' stand out....

The other girls joining in from Double D
are

So why not hop on over to their blogs to see all their animal cuteness!!

Entering the following challenges as well:

Good cover up! No tears spend and you used a NBUS for this creation. He is a cute Ewe, and looks like he needed so attention.

This is so cute! Sorry about the BooBoo ... but you make the perfect recovery! You're right ... it does make the sentiment stand out ... well done! Thanks for joining in the fun even though I know how busy you are right now with family & craft room clean up! Always fun to see what you come up with. Stay safe!

This is adorable Diane and well done for using a NBUS! Great cover on your oops. I used to teach scrapbooking classes and I would tell my group, there is no such thing as a mistake, just an opportunity to embellish. Well done!!

Ewe are kidding that this is the first time ewe've ewesed the ewe! No, really. I could tell it was an oldie. We all have some of those NBUS oldies, I think. It's adorable and I'll bet it was fun to just grab it and get to work. I like how the sentiment looks. The save made it better!

What a cute stamp and you showcased it beautifully on your CAS card Diane. I love the vibrant colours as well as the sentiment. Never thought it was a cover up :-)

This is so bright and cheerful, Diane! Love the blending to give lambie a meadow to stand in! And I think your boo-boo was serendipitous because that little circle sediment works perfectly with the oval! I didn't see this one in the NBUS gallery, but good job using it!! Take care and keep safe! Hugs, Darnell

I love the 'country' look of that cute little lamb, Diane, and the placement of the sentiment seems planned. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Addicted to CAS.

Great job of saving your card. Sometimes we need to be a little creative when unintended smudges end up on our projects. I love the cute sheep and the sentiment is perfect. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS.
