Sketch Challenge At The Shabby Tea Room

I am back online...yah!!!  I feel like I have been given my life back...lol.
Wow, it is so hard not to have a computer, actually makes me wonder if
I spend too much time on it, I missed it so much...lol.

Last week my "pink" card HERE won the top honor at "The Shabby Tea Room"
I was so honored and appreciate it so much!!  I won some wonderful stamps from
"Paper Sweeties", and can't wait to go on my "shopping spree" there!
I also will be guest designing there the week of Feb.2nd, I hope you will join me!

This card I am sharing today I made for the "sketch" challenge at

I seem to "ignore" my colored card stock, so one of my this years card making
"resolutions" was to use more of it.  I choose SU Rose Red for my base.
The background paper is from an almost used the entire pad...almost....
of one of my favorite 6 x 6 pads from Glitz "Hello Friend".
The pink strip you see is a "paint" sample from Valspar.
The chipboard piece is from a "new", just received "Ruby Rock-It die cut package
called "mother nature".
the flowers and the butterfly are from Heidi Swapp.

So there you have it.....it feels so GOOD to be "back"!!!

I love your heart with snowflowers. It is a wonderful idea. Do you really have over 40 inches of snow? I am going to come live in your area so I can see some real snow. I live in KS and where we live we have seen no more than 4-5 inches this year, and that came at night so I did not get to see it. We are experiencing a drought and it is awful. It is a good thing that we have beautiful cards to make and look at.
