Just some Stuff

Howdy!  I didn't have a scheduled post today, so am using this opportunity to
tell you about a blog hop "coming soon" and show you a few of my "kitchen garden" flowers!

First about the hop.
Die Versions and Sparkle N Sprinkle have joined forces for a "cancer awareness"
blog hop to start on July 31st at 9pm and will end August 3rd.
There will be a prize awarded
just for  leaving comments along the way.

When in selecting my supplies,
we were given a link to a calendar of different cancers
we could select to make awareness of.
I chose the month of September, as I have known
someone with every one of those cancers.  I found the list to be very shocking!
I think the first thing we (I) think of when doing a cancer awareness is always breast cancer....
maybe because I have known many people
that have survived this (and some not) terrible disease!

So please mark your calendars for July 31st - Aug 3rd and hop along with us!

I also wanted to mention
that while leaving a DT duty comment today,
I came across"THIS POST"....give it a read,
and why not at least buy the digital to help....
it is so cute and very useful too!

These are just a few of my flowers in what I call
my "kitchen garden"....
this garden has all my herbs in it
which I love as I can just open the slider
and "harvest" what I need!

Have a great Friday!!

Your flowers are stunning! I wish I had just a little bit of your green thumb :-). I'm lucky to keep any plant alive for long. Great write-up about the hop too! Thanks for doing it.

Your lilies are so pretty, Diane! I found a spot where I can plant some Asiatics this fall where the dogs can't accidentally trample them. They'll be nestled behind some pots. I'll be heading over to look at the digi for a good cause now. Thanks!
