Here is MY card I created for the release!
Here is MY card I created for the release!
I chose to feature the new stamp set
'Crystal Snow Flake'.
I just can't seem to resist a snowflake stamp as they are all so different!
As always, I used the Anti Static bag on my card stock,
helping to eliminate any stray EB powder sticking to the paper
where I didn't want it (finger prints can cause this
and the bag ensures this doesn't happen).
I started out by stamping the one of the largest snowflake stamps,
and two of the smaller snowflake stamps with Versamark,
then embossing all with White embossing powder.
Here it is before embossing, and
after embossing.
Next I used TH Distress inks and sponged on
starting first with Spun Sugar, then with Worn Lipstick.
After applying the ink, simply wipe off your snowflakes
with a soft tissue.....an emboss resist technique.
Once I was happy with my ink sponging,
I once again used Versamark and stamped the sentiment,
this time embossing with Black Detail embossing powder.
I added ribbon and a bow to the front card base,
then using twine, I tied a sterling silver snowflake to the bow.
I used 1/2" Tear-ific Tape to add my finished panel to
white card stock and then the pink card base.
I am last on the list, but you should of started with the very talented ERET!
Makes sure and visit ALL the blogs leaving a comment on each for
YOUR chance to win the entire release...now how fun would that be!!!

ooooh, Diane! I love a pink Christmas card, and yours is beautifully done - such softness and peacefulness. I'd forgotten about using a large piece of vellum, and applying color to it. Thanks for the design tip. I especially like the use of black for the sentiment - it really does show up fantastically, and makes all the pale colors show up in a lovely way! Wonderful card. hugs, de
What an unusual color for a Christmas card! But how lovely it turned out. It is elegant all in its own way. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Pretty in pink! Lovely background with the prominent snowflakes against the white! Beautiful ribbon and the little snowflake charm is the perfect finish!
Beautiful color choice. I am glad you went away from the traditional colors. You have inspired me to think outside the box. TFS
That is so pretty. Wonderful idea to go pink. Hugz
Pink is not a traditional color for a winter card, that's one of the reasons I love this, so clever! Love the design!!!
I would have thought about using pink on a Christmas(y) card, but this is gorgeous. I love it so much. What a fantastic release.
