Sketch Challenge

Well here we go again, Dar (Dar's Crafty Creations) and I doing another challenge together.
This one is a CAS one using their fun sketch.
I like the CAS challenges as it does challenge me to make a CAS card,
no embellishments, always hard for me lol!
Here is the sketch

and here is  my card.

The background panel I made myself using an Elizabeth Crafts embossing folder
which after running thru my Cuttlebug,
I sponged on Nuvo Embellisment Mousse Spring Green
(I get to add embellishments in a different concept..lol)
Then I spritzed it with Nuvo Mica Mist Fresh Pear,
which gave it lots of shimmer.

The image is actually from a 8 x 8 Websters Pages paper pad called
My Happy Place.
I have quite an addiction for paper and seem to hoard it,
so have been trying to force myself to use it.
I saw this online and it has the cutest papers and images to work with,
I loved this little 'water color' girl and her tree!
The camera seems to make the card look 'fat'
(cameras do the same to me lol)
but it is actually a 4 1/2" x 5 1.2" card, opening at the top.

So pop on over to
Dar's blog and see her CAS sketch card.

Ohhhh, I love that sweet image! Gosh, I have a lot of Webster's Pages, but nothing like this. Used to be my favorite paper, but now Mintay... (I'll email you). Awesome background you made. You and Darlene are having too much fun and I love it!

You created the perfect BG for that gorgeous image! I've just dumped a load of papers and craty things on my friend Pat... She's still only a few years into crafting so not at the stage where she says "I don't need that' LOL! I really need to clear out more hoarded papers... let's face it .. I never use them! Have a wonderful day!

This is just stinkin cute! Glad to see there are other paper hoarders out there. I find the double sided present a double dilemma for me. Which side do I use? I might need the other side later. I usually pull out stacks of patterned paper and end up with a mostly white card. Too many decisions. But oh do I love buying them.
