Happy Monday to you....
Today is my "debut" as part of the wonderful and talented Crafty Secrets Design Team.
On the first Monday of every month is the Crafty Secrets linky party
where the talented Design Team gets together to bring some fabulous inspiration!
Sound like fun?...but wait there's more...
Each of the Crafty Secrets girls has a tutorial for you and
not only that, you can join in all the fun with "your" entries (up to 4) by using one of
the "free" Crafty Secrets products offered (listed on the blog)
and have a chance at winning a $50 gift certificate to the store chosen by Randon.org....
and ALL the entrants will receive one $6.00 coupon to the store!!!
For my project I started out with a shadow box frame I purchased for half off
I printed my background papers from the Thanksgiving Collection.....
each shadow frame was 4x6 so it made is very easy to print my papers and cut
to that size...I did have to have my hubby move the handle so my box ran the
shadow insets 4x6 as they were 6x4 if that makes any sense!!
I love the bold pattern and colors for these papers...
and I don't have a fancy printer at all, and they printed beautifully!!
When printing my background papers I printed them full sheet size 8 1/2 x 11
so I was able to use the leftover pieces for my project
After all the background papers were adhered with glue
then began the fun part...decorating my frames.....
Frame one is one of my favorites.....I love the beautiful Autumn Blessing
it is part f the Thanksgiving Collection...I popped it up and added a gingham bow.
Frame two is also part of the Thanksgiving Collection.....
I loved the look of the vintage children, printed them twice, then fussy cut
one set and popped them up on the first set...I love the 3D effect of the frame
I love how all the fresh veggies remind of a Fall harvest....
I wanted to mention that this booklet has 32 pages with 2 images on each page
and is on sale right now for $3.50!!! It arrives to you in booklet form..
Frame four I cut a jar from some of my background stamps and fussy cut
around the sunflower so it looks like it is in the jar
I think this is the prettiest image, it is from "Fall Printable"
Frame five, I thought I would keep very neutral...
I colored the image from "Thanksgiving Collection" very lightly with Copics
and personalized it with our name using "Family Matters" vintage stickers.
This is another sale item..and entire sheet of vintage stickers for 99 cents!!!
Frame six has an image once again from "Thanksgiving Collection"
which I added glitter to...cut a few leaves, added a few buttons.
The Fall banner is part of "Fall Printable"
I love how my project turned out and I now have a beautiful piece of art
for my Fall decor!!

I love how you personalized this tray Diane. How inspirational for all our Crafty Secret fans to see square 1 using the "freebie" image. All the images you used are great and I love your tutorial.
could this be any more "autumn"? I love the bouquet all colored in with that little bow its my favorite detail! I might have to make one for my entryway!
What a great project and so beautifully done with just the perfect amount of embellishing ... Hope all is well with you ... sending hugs your way!
Beautiful projects my friend. Makes me ready for fall....come on leaves and pumpkins and cooler weather. Great job!

Wow, your shadow box is fabulous. I love the colors of fall.
Hi Diane, I left a message on your blog and I don't understand why it isn't here. Anyway I love your tray and I especially love that you used this month's free image. this should inspire a bunch of people to use this lovely image.
This project is wonderful! Love all the details and the fuzzy cutting and popping up of the image. Too cute! Thanks for the great tutorial.
Great project Diane! Lovely.
I love this. I have a "thing" for these trays and yours is awesome. I esp. love that you cut your leftover papers into leaves. I do that all the time. I have baggies of die cut shapes...that I hoard. LOL
Goodness, Diane! What a gorgeous, gorgeous project and one you can display proudly year after year. What a lovely addition to your home's fall decor! I'm stunned! I've been blog visiting this morning and I've seen a sketch I want to run off and do right now, plus a wedding card challenge, and now this for Crafty Secrets (I do have some Crafty Secrets stuff). I'm overwhelmed, as usual, and probably won't do any of it since it's another beautiful day, our son is down to visit, we're taking the dogs out for a swim, cooking later, and back to work tomorrow. Can you hear me long for retirement?
Absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful fall project! Thank you for the tutorial!
Fabulous "Debut" project, Diane! Looking forward to your Crafty Secrets inspiration.
Diane, first congrats for scoring a printer's tray on sale. But more importantly, you have created a beautiful fall decor piece. Thanks for the inspiration.
