Northern Lights

This year in Michigan we were lucky enough to see the
Northern Lights so when I saw a challenge at
My Time To Craft Christmas #88
and the theme was Northern Lights
I had to join in as in past months I had purchased a set
of Brutus Monroe Northern Lights card panels
I thought it was the perfect challenge to pull them out for.
You get 8 different panels in each package but mine had 16
in it, so I have LOTS of panels to use up!
My penguin is an X-cut die that I cut him in black and white and
adhered one on the other, the fish, iceberg and seagull are also part of the die cut.
The sentiment is from The Ton Easy Expressions Christmas.

What a clever and unique theme this is,
I am sure they would love it if YOU came over and joined in too!!

Also entering the following challenges:
Simon Says Wednesday .... Bright and Cheerful

Wow, that's some amazing paper! Cool penguin die, too. It's very realistic. The sparkly ice flow is just his size! We were supposed to be able to see the lights here and I tried, but it was too cloudy or maybe I went out at the wrong time. For several nights... not even a glow.

Diane: So sorry that I missed responding earlier during the MTTCC #88 competition. My mom's past month has been topsy-turvy with 8 days in the hospital and then nursing home rehab since. I'm the only child of 3 that is geographically the closest so I'm the one doing visiting, checking her home, and all the related details. Anyway, computer time hasn't been regular like I've been used to and I apologize.

I also didn't realize that Brutus Monroe had Northern Lights print panels available!!!! What a game changer!!!! :) I experimented about 6 times with alcohol markers to get one that I thought was usable for my DT card!!!! :) Your card is so fun to have that penguin and fish on the tiny bit of glittery ice. The card is stunning! Thanks for being part of MTTCC #88!!! --Becca

(P.S. I'd love for you to link this up over at FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenges for its outdoor wintery landscapes/weather/nature or exterior holiday decorations theme competition. Current time period is June 7-July 5. )
