Dainty Blooms

Hi there, Diane with you today.

Have you seen all the new dies that have been released lately?
If not you should go to the Classy Card's n Such Store,
click on NEW and be amazed!

I used one of the new dies for this weeks challenge which is "texture".
For my texture I chose
Poppystamps Cottage Corner.
A delicate and pretty die.
A little tip in using this die, is to first tape it down
on your card stock with remove-able tape
before you cut it.
This allows you to emboss it before it comes out of the die.

I added tiny LeCreme pearls to each flower.
Once cut, I adhered the panel to my card stock with

Flowers were stamped from Sweet n' Sassy Flowers In Bloom.
I outlined each flower/stem with a Wink of Stella Pen.
If you could see this up close,
you would notice the pretty shimmer.
The sentiment is from the same set,
which I popped up with Joy! Foam Pads Small.

Thank you for visiting with me today!.

Oh, my gosh, I was just looking at this die at DRU, but it's out of stock. It looks like something I just HAVE to have! I like the flowers and the butterfly and the bright green ribbon. BTW, you're right... I am building up my die collection quite a bit more lately. Trying to make a point of using the new ones relatively soon. Definitely need some better organization. Sounds like an after retirement project!
