I have been wanting this Stampin Up" Rustic Rooster Hostess set since it was released! It just arrived on my door step yesterday and I couldn't wait to stamp it out! Only thing is, when I went to my stamp room to do just that, my tables were a complete mess! I had made a journal for a swap I was in,, and I had stuff everywhere! That being the case, I decided to use what was laying out and made these two cards mostly out of scrap! These aren't the "visions" I had planned on making, but I have been seeing a lot of what they are calling "clean" cards on blogs lately (meaning, not a ton of layering), so thought that was a good way to get some of the mess cleaned off my tables! The second card I stamped the rooster on a scrap piece of water color paper, giving him an entirely different look! The DS paper I used I had bought for the journal, its from K & Company...I love it...has a very vintage look! As for the journal, I will post it in a few days, I don't want to ruin the surprise for the "new owner"!
