Let's Party

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi Tutti fans, I have a fun~fun die I used on a couple of cards today using
Party Banner die.

This is a die that is so easy to combine with other dies like I did
using the word sets Happy and Birthday.
These words come in two sizes together and for my card I used
the larger words.

The second was super easy by just adding the banners to a
fun designer paper that seemed to work perfect with the banners.
Of course I added little dots and tied ribbon pieces at each end.

If you would like to see a third card I created using this banner die,

CAS at The Sisterhood of Crafters

New challenge up and running at
The Sisterhood of Crafters and our hostess is Vickie
and she has chosen the theme of CAS.

Normally CAS means a lot of white space, but for this card
it means a lot of dark blue.

I had a tiny embossing folder and used that as a background
for the Cottage Cutz Stitched Tulip & Daisies Die,
of course I used just the Daisy.
I have a 'thing' for stitched dies.

The sentiment comes from a set I won years ago.

I hope you will join our challenge at The Sisterhood
as it can't get any easier then CAS...
make sure to pop on over to see what 'my 'sistahs' have created!!

Garden Background Die

This is my card on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi Tutti fans, Diane with you today
with a card I created using
Garden Background.

What a pretty die this is and it pretty much takes
center stage and you don't need much more
to create a quick card like I did!

It was simply die cut from a white card stock then adhered
to a panel of navy blue.
I tied a red ribbon around, then tied a sentiment on that..
Pretty layers...pretty easy!

If you would  like to see a few more ideas using this die
then please visit the store HERE.

Talk of 'easy'
I have a very easy silhouette card I made by using a file from my Cricut.

This file cut my silhouette in 4 different pieces.
I cut the train from a black textured paper.

BOOOOgie Nights

I was a Guest Diva!

Hey All, I am guest designing at
Die Cuttin Diva's this week and the theme is
'MONSTERS'!

I have the cutest Halloween card  I made
using 3 different dies,
two of which are a first time use!

I die cut my 'Frankie'  FIVE times to give me all the colors I wanted.
I die cut first in black, then stuck him on a sticky paper
making it somewhat easy (I say somewhat as I did a few stupid things)
to just piece the other colors in....fun!!

The Boogie Nights die comes with a shadow die,
making it super easy to place the words on.
I couldn't help myself and had to add the google eyes,
as each of the O's had a place for them.

The tree die cut has the owl and skunk as part of it's die cut,
and cuts others as well, one big die...
so couldn't resist adding the skunk to my spooky scene,
and gave him a bit of white with a white pen.

So,that is my monster card and I am so glad I finally got to use Frankie!!

Thank you Die Cuttin Diva's for having me guest design!!

Birdhouse Garden

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hello Tutti fans, Diane with you today sharing a couple cards using the
Birdhouse Garden die.

I die cut the die first from white card stock,
Then cut two of the birdhouse again from scraps of designer paper,
and paper pieced them on.
I colored the grass in with Copics.

I added a few embossed clouds and a stamped sentiment,
the little skunk you see is actually part of the background paper.

For the second card, I die cut from white card stock
then paper pieced all three birdhouse from bright scraps of paper.
The flowers and stems were colored with Copics, as well as the grass.
I added three little birds.

By visiting the store HERE, you can see a third sample I created using this die.

Woodsy Fox

At The Sisterhood of Crafters Katy is our hostess
and she has chosen 'WOOD' as our challenge theme.
Any kind of wood related...paper, stamps, dies, just so there is some wood on it.

My card is wood, wood and more wood lol!

I used a cute little fox die from Cottage Cutz Fox & Bird.
I left the little bird off this one and instead added pumpkins (Sue Wilson).
I featured Mr. Fox on another Cottage Cutz die 'Tree Stump'.
I have a lot of these dies, but I wait until they have their 60 to 80% off sales...
and stock up...so FUN!
These dies aren't for the faint of heart lol, as they have oodles of little pieces,
but I have worked with them so long they don't bother me at all!

I used an OLD embossing folder (from my stash of many) for the background and Spellbinders
Curved Matting Basics A for both panels.

The paper is from the famous Mintay that everyone loves...'wilderness'.

So I hope you have enjoyed Mr. Foxy and take time to visit
The Sisterhood to see all the fun 'WOOD' creations my 'Sistahs'
have created...we love comments, really we do!!

Pretty Daisy Panel

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today:

Hi Tutti Friends,
Diane with you today with a couple of cards using the
Daisy Panel die.

This is a nice size die,(6" x 2") making a longer card
and really making a statement.

For this card I die cut from a scrap of yellow, then adhered to a plain white panel
,embossed the background,
added a strip down the side and a few butterflies.

For the second card, I die cut from a yellow card stock,
added it to a brown background panel,
used a designer paper underneath,
added a bow and Nuvo to the flower centers.

You can see a third card I designed by visiting the store HERE.
