Guest Designing At Dragonfly Dreams

This month I have the honor of guest designing at
Dragonfly Dreams with the theme being Beach or Seaside!!

In my 'new' bins of things to use was this Postage Stencil from
Waffle Flower Collage Under The Sea.
At first I thought it a bit intimidating as there were so many stencils
and colors, but WF made it super easy by having each color listed by
each stencil, what a life saver!!  I used 16 different colors of ink
from various ink companies.
There is a bit more detail that the photo doesn't capture.

I want to thank Dragonfly Dreams for having me guest design
and would love to have you join in the fun challenge too!!

Wishing You A Merry Christmas

Time for a new challenge this month at Peace On Earth.
As always we have a fun mood board for inspiration,
lots to choose from or you can create anything
Christmas themed.

I have always loved the pretty decorated lanterns for Christmas
and have a few of my own I set out each Christmas holiday
so that was what inspired me today.  I had great plans of putting velum
behind the glass panes but of course I glued it down before I
remembered that, that is what happens when you get old,
you get very forgetful!!  Anyhow I used a Cottage Cutz Lantern
& Poinsettia
die for I think the first time along with designer paper
from Mintay Merry & Bright.  A circle was die cut from a
Spellbinders circle die, probably my first die I ever bought.
The sentiment is The Ton and I added a few glittery gems to finish.
It's hard to see but I also embossed the red panel with a
new to me Sizzix Quilted EB folder.

We can't wait to see what you create over at Peace On Earth!

Happy Halloween

Hello friends, at Two Old Bats we are going strong
with our Halloween challenge and have a spooky fun mood board
for inspiration, but you can create anything as long
as it is Halloween!

I liked every single one of these images on this board so it
it was hard for me to choose which one to go with.
The bottom left corner reminded me of a set of rub-ons I purchased
from Spellbinders Stay Spooky along with the moon in the upper right corner.
I already had a die cut inked circle in my 'spare parts' box
and my rub on fit perfectly on it.  The black clouds background paper is
Echo's Park Wizards & Company.  The sentiment is part of the SP rub-ons.

We would love to see you join our fun at

Lemongrass

A new month, a new color at our Colorful Options Challenge
and this month it is LEMONGRASS, you can read the options below:

Option 1 — Lemongrass

Create a project featuring lemongrass as the primary color.

Think bright citrus yellow, zesty lemon, fresh grass green, and vibrant yellow-green tones. Bold, glowing, soft, or natural—any shade within this fresh spectrum is welcome.

Option 2 — Yellow-Green Spectrum

Prefer a variation? Focus on the yellow to green color range.

How fun are these colors?  I right away thought of using one of my very favorite
Simon Says embossing folders with stencils 'Butterfly Escapade'.
I started with a SSS Lemon Chiffon card stock to emboss on then stenciling with
SSS Lemonade, Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, and Memento Pear Tart inks.
The folder also comes with butterfly dies and the butterfly body parts
which I opted NOT to use this time.  I also left a sentiment off for now
so that it will fit any occasion when needed.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you too will
join in our 'Colorful Options' fun!!

Happy Birthday Cards

Here we are, winding down our summer months again
and we have a new OPTIONAL challenge theme at
Love Those Pretty Papers.
and it is
Look To The Sky
(Galaxy Lightening Sunshine Clouds Stars).

Keep in mind the theme is only OPTIONAL as we are an
anything goes challenge using your pretty papers!

I made a card using the theme as I had purchased a 'new to me'
paper pad by Brutus Monroe BEDtime, it's full of stars, moons and
more!  All I added was a Spellbinders Betterpress sentiment and I now
have a masculine card to add to my stash!

For my ANYTHING GOES card I once again turned to my
Brutus Monroe papers and used a pretty paper from their
SUNFLOWER soiree collection!  The sentiment is Altenew
Beautiful Inside (which I used outside) stamped with Dew Drop
Bamboo Leaves ink on a MFT Die-namics label die Framed Greetings.

Hope to see you over at Love Those Pretty Papers with YOUR papers!!

Summer Somewhere

We are into our last SUMMER month at The Four Seasons,
can you believe it, the months go by so fast it seems!!

We have a summery mood board for inspiration but you can
create anything as long as you stay within our SUMMER theme!

As soon as I saw this mood board I knew I wanted to use paper from
my Mintay 6x6 pad of Marina as it has the bottle from the
upper left corner and the lighthouse from the bottom right.
I mounted it on some navy blue card base and stamped a
sentiment from The Project Bin Summer Fun.

Come on over and spend the last days of SUMMER with us at
The Four Seasons!!

Celebrate

Our challenge at Can You Handle The Pressure has a new OPTIONAL
theme of CELEBRATIONS.
You can create anything as long as you have used an embossing folder.
as that is what our challenge is all about, if in doubt please see
the DT samples and read the rules.

I used for the first time an embossing folder stencil combo
from Lisa Horton's Spring Bloom.  I found this stencil a bit
tricky to get it lined up properly and it definitely has some 'booboo's
on it, not only with the colors I used but also getting it lined up as the
way the stencil was designed.  Don't look too closely LOL.
All inks used were Altenew.  The sentiment is
Tutti Designs that I die cut three times then stacked
one on the other.  The butterfly is Sue Wilson,

Come on over to Can You Handle The Pressure and have some
embossing fun with us!
