Go Blue

This post is more personal then I would normally do
but my grandson graduated from University of Michigan with his masters
in Kinesiology Master of Science Sport, Sport Management.
It's pretty awesome to me as 10 years ago he had a spinal injury
that placed him a wheel chair when he was 15, hard for any
teenager to accept, but he persevered and ended up in a
wheelchair tennis program at UOM where he finished out his year as
the National wheelchair champion, a HUGE accomplishment.

I created this card using an image from my Cricut in his school colors.  I was quite pleased that Cricut had perfect images for this sport!!
His celebration was May 2nd at the Notre Dame campus, which he well deserved

His parents, (my daughter) and his girlfriend.

Believe In the Magic

Happy Sunday, can you believe we are already winding down May?
June will be here before we know it and we have perfect
weather (with a bit of rain) predicted for all week!

I didn't have any DT cards for today, not for the rest of the week
so I am entering a card I made for my SIL at Christmas time
that I have never shown on my blog, today in a challenge at
Crafty Calendar's May challenge that is 'All White'!

Dies:  IO Deer and trees, Yvonne Creations Houses,
EB Folder Falling Snow
Oval is Tutti Designs, Sign is Penny Black,
Sentiment:   JustRite Xmas Inner Thoughts

I personalized the card.  Very hard to get a 'good' all white photograph!
Because my all white card does have a black sentiment on it I hope
it qualifies, but I did see one of the DT had a neutral sentiment as well.

I am going to try my best to be back with another non DT
card tomorrow, it's been fun entering some challenges myself
other then offering them along with my co-owner!

Thanks for stopping by!

You Did It

It's getting closer and closer to graduation this year and we only
have one granddaughter graduating from high school this year
and a grandson getting his masters so I decided to make a grad
card for a young lady for our Can You Handle The Pressure challenge blog.
Our OPTIONAL theme is embellishments.

Its a simple card really.  I used for the first time a TH mini texture fades
Mini Kaleidoscope EB folder on a Homey Bee Team Tie Dye paper.
I embellished the larger flowers with white pearls.
All the other papers came out of my 'pink' scrap bag.
The sentiment is a Spellbinders Betterpress.

Have neglected EB folders?  Then get them out and join our challenge at

Christmas Puppies

It's time for a new challenge starting today at
Peace On Earth!
We have a fun mood board for inspiration but you can use
anything as long as it is Christmas themed!

Some cutie pie animals in the board which made me think of my Katy Sue 3D
puppy cards I created.  I have several different ones but am just posting these two
for now.  Each card below that is shown I have 2 of each.  These cards are
4 1/2 x 4 1/2 and very 3D.  I have a doodle dog and the one reminds me of when he was a puppy!  Not much more to say about these
cards as you just punch out all the pieces then use a thinner
adhesive pop up in-between all the layers, easy peasy!

Card #1

Card #2

Aren't they just the cutest??

BOO

We are two weeks into our challenge at Two Old Bats where we
create for Halloween year round giving you the opportunity to
use your Halloween supplies all year!
We have a fun mood board for inspiration!

Being May and after a long winter I let all those pretty pink colors
inspire me, yep, you can have PINK Halloween if you want to!
Back in September of 2025 I went a little crazy ordering LOTS of new
Halloween and the cards I created came from one of the pretty new papers
I had purchased from 'This Calls for Confetti' a new company to me.
The 5 1/2x8 1/2 pad had 12 fun designs and two of each which allowed me to make
four cards with one of the designs.  I figured I might as well make four since they were so
simple to create!  There were 2 of the designs on each page which fit an A2 card
front perfectly!!  I loved every single paper design in this pad!

All four of them:

Come on over to Two Old Bats and have some Halloween fun with us,
the design team always has some awesome inspiration as well!
