but changed it up a bit by adding an embossed numerical background.

Happy Birthday Splatters

Double D has a new challenge theme starting today and it is
SPLATTER .

We have a mood board for inspiration as well as two teams of
wonderfully fun inspiration, make sure to check them out!!

For my splatter card I had a scrap of 'splattered' green paper
making the perfect background for my Poppystamps Marcelle Flower die.
I die cut in all white scraps them blended ink in from my brushes.

The sentiment is Hero Arts Ribbon Messages stamped directly onto
the card front.  A few fun sequins were added.

Christmas Puppies

It's time for a new challenge starting today at
Peace On Earth!
We have a fun mood board for inspiration but you can use
anything as long as it is Christmas themed!

Some cutie pie animals in the board which made me think of my Katy Sue 3D
puppy cards I created.  I have several different ones but am just posting these two

for now.  Each card below that is shown I have 2 of each.  These cards are 

4 1/2 x 4 1/2 and very 3D.  I have a doodle dog and the one reminds me of when he was a puppy!  Not much more to say about these
cards as you just punch out all the pieces then use a thinner

adhesive pop up in-between all the layers, easy peasy!

BOO

We are two weeks into our challenge at Two Old Bats where we
create for Halloween year round giving you the opportunity to
use your Halloween supplies all year!
We have a fun mood board for inspiration! 

Being May and after a long winter I let all those pretty pink colors

inspire me, yep, you can have PINK Halloween if you want to!
Back in September of 2025 I went a little crazy ordering LOTS of new

Halloween and the cards I created came from one of the pretty new papers

I had purchased from 'This Calls for Confetti' a new company to me.
The 5 1/2x8 1/2 pad had 12 fun designs and two of each which allowed me to make

four cards with one of the designs.  I figured I might as well make four since they were so
simple to create!  There were 2 of the designs on each page which fit an A2 card
front perfectly!!  I loved every single paper design in this pad!

Birthday Wishes

Beautiful Blossoms has a beautiful inspiration photo for May.
I love it as May was my Mom's birthday month and
Lily of The Valley is the May flower  and I always made
her a lily of the valley card for her birthday.
She will have been gone eight years this year and not a day goes by
that I don't miss her!
You can create any kind of blooms, this is just for inspiration!

So, naturally I had to create a Lily of the Valley card using an older die

from Tutti Designs.  After die cutting I colored it in with my Copics.

The underneath piece is a leftover negative from an order I had

to make a dozen cards for, and thought it would make the perfect backdrop
for my flowers.  The sentiment is Altenew.

 Hello friends, our new theme at The Sisterhood of Crafters is
BANNERS.
We want to see all your fun banners on your creations.

I went a bit of a different way with my banners using my older
Tutti Designs Stitched Nested Banners cut from pretty papers
from Echo Park's Bee Happy papers.

The designs on card #1 is also part of Echo Park's
Bee Happy Ephemera  and the sentiment is Lawn Fawn's
Simple Wavy Banners.

Card #2

I liked this design so much that I created a second card
this time with ephemera from Craft Consortium's 
Amongst the Hedgerow, the sentiment is the same as card #1.

Happy Birthday Balloons

The OPTIONAL theme at Can You Handle The Pressure is
BALLOONS!!

I created a VERY simple card letting the Paper Rose Balloon
embossing folder do the work, embossed on 
Brutus Monroe Tie Dye paper, I think it made the perfect paper
for the balloons, the sentiment is a Spellbinders Betterpress.

I went BIG with my sentiment, using for the first time a

stenciled in all Altenew inks.  This card can be used for any occasion.

Case A DT Card Challenge

 Hello friends, I have a second post to share today as I
didn't want to miss out on the Just Us Girls challenge that
closes today.  I am getting in by the 'skin of my teeth' as it is!

The challenge is to CASE a DT, easy except the hard
part of deciding which DT to choose!!

I finally decided to 'case' CAROL as I thought her design 
would be perfect for using a pretty designer paper.  You can read about her

card HERE.  She used washi tape for her floral image but I used a pretty

paper from Crafter's Companion Rustic Cottage, a pad full of beautiful

floral papers with a vintage look.  The die cut circles are Spellbinders (underneath),
 I think this was the first die I had ever purchased
and the inner die cut circle is a Scalloped circle

from Cottage Cutz.  The sentiment is Sizzix.

Make sure to visit Just Us Girls and see all the pretty

designs from the DT, I loved each and every one and
if I had more time, I would of created a few more!!

Happiness

 Today our challenge theme at Double D is 
WATERCOLOR.

We have a watercolor inspiration board and plenty more inspiration
from the design teams at the challenge blog.

I pulled out a few very old things for my card.  I die cut a watercolor paper
using a Poppystamps Flower Field Frame (2022) then used my very old
Tim Holtz Distress watercolor markers.  I was pleased that they still even worked!!
It was a long process and they are far from perfect but in the end made a pretty card.
The sentiment is Sparkle & Sprinkles (retired company) Happiness Greetings stamp.
I added Glitter Emerald Green Nuvo Drops to the flower centers, giving a bit of sparkle.

1 small heart from my spare parts was also added.

You're A Great Friend

We have a new OPTIONAL theme this month at Stencil Fun and it is
 See thru it, anything you can see thru.  
Meaning you can make a shaker, use vellum, cut a 'window' opening,
I think you get the idea, but we are an anything goes challenge
as long as a stencil is used.

I made a shaker card using an Echo Park Simply Sweet Floral stencil
with Altenew ink.  The floral shaker part is a first time use of a
Spellbinders Blossom die.  I also added a SB handmade flower and a
sentiment from Pink Fresh Studios.  The shaker filler is from
Pretty Pink Posh

For my Anything Goes card I used a Newton's Nook Paws stencil.
I stenciled the background, the sentiment background and
also a bit on the inside.  The kittens are a Katy Sue 3D set and are
very layered in 3D,
which I think are just adorably cute!

I created two cards the same.

Some Bunny Loves You

 Time for our The Neglected Stuff challenge,
no themes, we just want to see your neglected stuff you have had
around for quite some time and have never used OR have not used for a very
long time.  It seems we all buy things we just 'had to have'
then it's either put aside or put away and never used.

I have a drawer full, yes full of ephemera that I  seem to fall for all
the cute and pretty pieces,
then purchase and never know what to do with them.
I used my WF postage die to cut a pretty designer paper 
(sorry can't remember whose it is)
then added bits and pieces of my fun ephemera,
I haven't a clue of the name of it, I've looked thru it all
and don't see it!!  But, anyhow I got to use a bit up
for a fun card, a good one for one of the younger grands!

I'm sure you have LOTS of neglected stuff so come and show
us what it is at our The Neglected Stuff Challenge!!

Just To Say

It's the beautiful month of May at Triple B
and for our challenge we have the most prettiest PINK
mood board for inspiration!   You can however create anything
as long as it has Birds~Blooms~Butterflies
one, two or all three!

I used one of my Katy Sue 3D flower images I had put together

and was just waiting to be made into a card and I just love these
pretty Apple Blossoms, which just happen to be Michigan's state flower,

along with those cute fuzzy birds!

Season's Greetings

Hello All, it's that time again for a new challenge at
Peace On Earth and we have a pretty mood board to inspire for
the month of May but you can create anything Christmas!

I let all the pretty pink colors inspire me and also this being the year
I am trying to use some things up I grabbed some

Stamperia Ephemera from the Pink Christmas Collection.

This piece looks as though Santa is taking flight with his

gardeners dream of a flower filled sleigh!  I used a Lawn Fawn

cloud stencil and a die cut negative from a circle for the stenciled moon.

I embossed the snow with a TH Sizzix Snowfall folder.
The sentiment is from The Ton.

May Your Day Be Brighter

 Our challenge this month at Love Those Pretty Papers
has an OPTIONAL theme of Fancy Fold.

I had the bright idea to do a Z FOLD card, and there are several
different Z fold tutorials from easy to somewhat 'fancy'.

I opted to go the easy way.  When I was looking thru my paper pads
for something else I saw these prints and right away had an idea to use
this fun Impression Obsession die as it reminded me of the papers,
which by the way are Brutus Monroe Bunny Hugs.  This is a really small
paper pad that has only 12 sheets of paper in it, but all are so cute!!
The circle die is PFS Folk Edge Circles and the sentiment is Stampendous Hugs.

Here is the card closed.

Because we are an ANYTHING GOES challenge we also always make
an ATG card for even more inspiration!

This card is using some VERY old designer paper that I think I won
on a challenge when Joan's Garden's had her challenges going.
It is Anna Griffin Olivia Collection 2013, yikes, yes it IS 13 years old

and I think this is the first time I have used it, I think I honestly
didn't know what to do with it!!  The frame, sentiment and butterfly

are all from my 'spare parts' box.

Ghost Car

 Hello Two Old Bats fans!
It's time for our MAY challenge  and we have a fun
inspiration only mood board fitting for the month of MAY!
You don't have to use the 'PINK' colors shown as any colors for Halloween are acceptable!

For some reason each year around September I seem to go on a
Halloween shopping spree and last year (2025) was no exception!
I founds lots of Halloween I just had to add to my stash and this cute

Doodlebug Doodle-pop Boo Cruise jumped into my cart knowing it would be
perfect for our May challenge!  I stenciled a Lawn Fawn Spun Sugar
cloudy background, after all, he is a ghost and he is driving floating thru the clouds!
Those added tiny little clouds you see came with my cute little car driving ghost.

I know, it's May and a long ways til Halloween

but that is why we give you a chance to use your 

fun Halloween stash year round, you get way more 'mileage'

out of your Halloween supplies that way.

Colorful Options has a PURR-FECT mood board this month and has this to say:

" I wanted to take inspiration from all the tuxedo cats out there.  A Black & White inspiration board with a little pop of color from their eyes & collars.  Have fun making!!

Well this board certainly appealed to me though it did make me miss my black cats, my all white cat and my tuxedo cat,
yes I had them all at one time or another!

I had a new to me and yet to have been used die I purchased off of Amazon
of these three kitties, a die I am sure you have seen many times,
but it still appealed to me. I used a Cuttlebug Love Triangle EB folder,

some glittery DCWV old paper from my stash and a Katy Sue sentiment
with plenty of black scraps to die cut the kitties.

Every Flower Is A Soul

It's our last month for Spring at The Four Seasons
and we have a beautiful Spring mood board for inspiration! 

I was inspired by the flowers and the yellow colors,
yellow happens to be my favorite color, it's so happy and pretty!

I used a Paper Rose Bee's & Butterflies Basic paper for my background.
The dies I used for all is a Waffle Flower  Lacy Layers 2.

A few years ago I purchased some Paper Studios stickers from hobbylobby,

though you can't tell, these stickers have sparkle-y glitter on them.

I mounted the stickers on card stock for stability, then fussy cut them out
and popped it up on the die cut.  The sentiment is a Spellbinders 
Gardens Favorites stamped with Dew Drop Morocco ink.

Happiest BEE-Day

 Our challenge at Simply Clean & Simple has an
OPTIONAL theme of Things That Fly,
but you can create anything as long as it is CAS.

Last year I went a bit crazy in purchasing BEE stamps, dies, stencils
so my 'thing that flies' today is none other then the cutest
little BEE from Unity BEE-HOLD stamp set.
After stamping and coloring my bee I fussy cut him out.
Though not seen, I added a bit of Stardust shimmer to the wings.
He was mounted on a hexagon die cut.  The embossed background is
an older Darice EB folder.  The fun sentiment is part of
the stamp set.

We are looking forward to seeing your CAS designs at
