Delicate Rose

This is my post on the Tutti Designs post today.

Hi Tutti friends, Diane with you today
featuring the beautiful die
Delicate Rose.

This die is perfect for a birthday~wedding~Mother's Day.
Not only can you die cut it
and use it in the various ways I have to show you
but wouldn't it be pretty adhered to water color paper
then water colored in?

First up I cut the rose from a glitter paper and added a glittery ribbon bow.
The backgrounds were die cut using both
the Cross Stitch Nesting Squares and Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles.

The second card I layered the Nesting Stitched Rectangles
to make a frame cut from white card stock.
I placed a heart designer paper behind,
then using white card stock, die cut the Delicate Rose.
I added the 'Love' word using the Word Set die Love.

The third card is probably my favorite.
Die cut from glitter and placed on a Nesting Dotted Circle.
I added a pretty designer paper on one side
and an embossed heart panel on the other.
The sentiment was stamped on a Nesting Dotted Rectangle.

I hope I have given you a few fun ideas using this pretty and delicate die!!

Ornaments

Today I decided to join in a Christmas challenge
and the theme is ornaments.
I have a few Christmas cards I haven't had on my blog yet
and decided to start featuring them when I can.

This card was made with the Tutti Designs Framed Ornaments
and for the Tutti 'store'.

I die cut it from a red metallic paper
and the background paper is shimmery as well
but it sure is hard to capture the pure beauty of metallic
in a photo.

Hello There #2

Hello There!
Last week I made a card for the Memory Box Challenge HERE
Monthlythemebadge

and had used my embossing folder on a 'minty' green card stock
and didn't think it showed up well,
so set it aside and did the pink one.

Well, it was still sitting on my work table and I thought
'why not'?

So here it is in green and with a patterned butterfly using
once again  the Memory Box 'Stitched Vivienne Butterfly'.

I will be once again entering this in the Memory Box challenge

Happy Ever After

Today at The Sisterhood of Crafters
our 'sistah' Debbie is hosting and she has chosen the theme of
Weddings.

It is that time of year when it seems weddings are abundance
and you might need a card just for that occasion.

I made a pretty simple card using a Tutti Designs die Wedding Bells.
The bells were cut from a shimmery/metallic paper.
I added a flower and a few pearls.

I used a designer paper (isn't it pretty) from my stash
and computer generated the sentiment.

With just a light piece of card stock or card board over the front,
this card will be an easy mailer if need be.

Need some wedding inspiration?
Then check out all the other fabulous wedding cards my 'sistahs'
have created at The Sisterhood!

Trucks

This is my card on the Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi Tutti Friends, Diane here today with three cards using the
Tutti Designs Pickup Truck.

This is a great die for masculine cards
both young and old alike!

The first card I die cut the truck from a red metallic paper.
The truck was adhered to a Nesting Stitched Oval
which I embossed.
I chose some papers for the background
that I thought looked rather 'manly'
including a crimped piece... a ribbon was added with the sentiment.

The next card I made into a Father's Day card...
what man wouldn't love a truck for Father's Day!
It was cut from a very shiny metallic green paper.

The next card I made for my grandson for his 18th birthday.
He was getting a new truck,  not knowing his was black,
I die cut from a blue/green metallic paper.
The sentiment fit him well as he is greatly liked by all.

I really love this die for a masculine card!!

Paper Lace Cut Files

Yikes, here we are towards the end of the month already...
it seems the older you get time passes by so quickly!

I have a Cricut cut card today using a new cut file from
The Cutting Cafe Paper Lace Templates and Cut Files.
Make sure and take a peek at these files as there are 4 different
files in 3 sizes.

I used the 'small alpha' size for mine.
It is on a 6" square card.
I computer generated the sentiment.
Remember that song?
ABC 123...do I have you singing it now?

It made a quick and easy card, letting the Cricut do all the cutting.

Stop by The Cutting Cafe Blog tomorrow May 21st,
as all the Design Team will have their Paper Lace creations to show you...
you can see it all in one place...leave a comment on the blog there for your chance to win
2 cut files of your own choice.

Hello There

Well I have been out of commission the last few days
down with the 'crud'
but today at least feel like I am alive again.
I am such a germ-a-phobic
I can't even imagine where I picked this bug up at...ugh!

Anyhow, I have been wanting forever to join in with the
challenges at Memory Box
and today have finally managed to.

The challenge is 'Embossing Extravaganza'.

Monthlythemebadge

Well a month or so back at Hobbylobby I picked up a really pretty set
of embossing folders by Momenta which is what I used today.
There are five in the set and each one is very pretty.

I also used a favorite Memory Box butterfly die
'Stitched Vivienne Butterfly.
Pretty simple card!

Paper Sweeties May 2019 New Release Rewind!

Today is the New Release Rewind
where the team has created more fun projects and inspiration
using the newly Released stamps and dies.

I have to say I have had a ball making these adorable
campers...with both the
Truck add on Life Is An Adventure stamp set
and
Truck add on Life Is An Adventure Sweet Cuts,
yu can create an amazing amount of very different campers!

For my card I used both the stamps and parts of the die set.

I stamped the camper then used Copics to color it in.
I added a die cut door and tires,
then used a Stardust gel pen to add sparkle to all the windows.

I stamped the cute little banners twice, then colored them in.

Have you ever been to a campground and
see a few campsites with potted plants?

I have and I think it is so cute,
so I HAD to add a potted plant to my scene using
Live Love Grow Stamp set!

(that is a shadow showing under the bit of twine..lol)...
thought I would mention it since it looks like a smear..it's not....
a few little glitter hearts were added for even more sparkle.

So there you have 'my' rewind card...
I couldn't resist using this set again and again!!

Paper Sweeties May 2019 New Release Party!

Are you ready to PARTY?
I hope so as today is the Paper Sweeties New Release Party!!

Make sure to visit the entire Design Team
to see all the beautiful creations!

One of the new releases is the gorgeous
Basket Add-On Thinking of You.
and
Basket Add on - Sweet Cuts.

I totally love this stamp!
It is so easy to use!
I stamped it twice on vellum using Versamark
and a white detail embossing powder.

Once that was done,
I did a favorite technique of mine...coloring on vellum!
Just make sure to color on the BACK side
and a bit deeper colors seem to work best.

I have to admit the entire color idea came from
the Dreamsicle Seam Binding ... dreamy and yummy!!

Here is a close up of the colored flowers.

I also used two of the stamps from the set for my greetings
and the sign die from the Thinking of You Sweet Cuts dies.

Birthday Gift Tag

Hi All, it's time for a new challenge theme
at the Dies R Us challenge blog today
and our theme is TAGS!

Grab our Badge!

You can make a 'real' tag or even put one on your card front.
Myself, I love making tags and have a pretty birthday one today.

I cut a length of card stock and using a beautiful; edge die
Sue Wilson Mini Gemini Dorado

Next I cut a few flowers and leaves from
Sue Wilson Starlight Daisy
I inked the flowers with
Distress Oxide Broken China
and the leaves with
Distress Oxide Peeled Paint

A pretty ribbon was added to finish
along with a Birthday Wishes sentiment.

Here is a list of products used:

Distress Oxide Broken China

We would love to have you join our Dies R Us challenge with us...
and pop on over to the blog to see all the beautiful tags
created by the Design Team!!

Birthday Wishes

It's the 15th of the month and that means a new challenge
at Double D!

It is being hosted by Team Darlene and she has chosen the theme
'Frames'
and has created this fun mood board to get you motivated!!

I made a rather large square card to accommodate the large Sue Wilson
frame die I used.
Once i adhered the frame to the card base
I used post it notes to block off  each section
so I could ink within each frame with oxide inks.

I had recently added to my 'collection' of  Poppystamps Whittle dies.
They are so CUTE!
I think there are 27 different ones....
this one is whittle rabbit...so sweet.

Next are the whittle birds.
I used a Cheapo Die for their branch.

and last we have whittle ducks.

Once I stamped the sentiment,
I added a few die cut butterflies.

Lots of pretty 'frame work' going on at Double D...
so why not head on over there and see for yourself...
join in as we have a fabulous prize as always!!

Paper Sweeties May 2019 New Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello my 'Paper Sweeties' friends!
Today is my first post for the 'Sweeties' Design Team
and I feel so honored to be a part of the team!
Today is also a 'SNEAK PEEK' of what's to
come with the release tomorrow...
you WON'T want to miss it!

For my 'sneak' today I have the cutest set of
stamps and dies to show you
and
Truck Add-on: Life is an adventure Sweet Cuts

Both of these will be available in store tomorrow!!

I had a lot of fun with this card as I have
always loved these little retro campers..
in fact a friend and I years ago said we were going to
get one and travel with those 'cowgirls'
that all have them refurbished and have a girls camp lol!
Well that didn't happen, so the next best thing
is the Life Is An Adventure set.

I used a few Distress inks and inked a background.
I stamped the camper on designer paper,
then used the matching die to cut....
lots of cute little pieces (stamps and dies)
 to 'dress up' your
camper anyway you want.
I used scrap pieces for most of mine.
The hub cap is cut from a shiny metallic silver paper.

For fun I used the stitched frame stamp from
Hand Made For You stamp set for
the cute little polka dot clouds.
and hung the 'Home Sweet Home' from the cloud.
I added a bit of sparkle using Raspberry Sequins.
Here is a look at the inside
