Summer Sunshine

New challenge starts today at
and is being hosted by our 'sistah' Darlene.
She has chosen the theme of 'Any Occasion'
and I went with a theme of 'Summer Sunshine'.

For my card I decided to make a Popsicle shaped card.
I haven't made one in years and being the time of year it is,
I thought it would be fun.

The last one I made was an orange Popsicle
so this time around I chose to make it lemon!

Not much to it really using a few SU supplies.
I used a yellow card stock for the base,
then stamped the lemon and used a couple round punches to
punch it out and another one for a yellow layer underneath.
To set if off I used my SU scalloped punch,
then went around the scallops with a pointy tool
in each scallop.

I stamped a Hello Sunshine sentiment from the
Stampendous Spring Sentiments set.
I tied a 'snippet' of ribbon on.

So why don't you 'pop' on over to The Sisterhood
and take a peek at the fabulous designs my 'sistahs' have created...
join in with us and have some fun!!

Wedding Wishes

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today

Hello Tutti friends!
It's that time of year where we seem to have more
bridal showers and weddings on our schedules!

Today I have six different cards using 3 different dies
perfect for weddings and/or bridal showers.

The first set of cards uses the
Tutti Designs Wedding Dress.

I made this card pretty simple by cutting it from a white metallic paper
and adding a piece of real lace up the center.

Amazing how you can change the look
by just adding a few different colors and  flowers....
Wouldn't this also make a pretty card for
a young girl's first prom?

The second set of cards is using the
Tutti Designs Wedding Cake die.

Here is a second version of it.
Perfect for a bridal shower.

Then there is always the 'get away' car...
using Tutti Designs Wedding Car.

This card would be great to hold a little 'cash' for the honeymoon!

I hope I have given you a few ideas and LOTS of inspiration using
these fun wedding dies!

Make sure to visit the Tutti Designs Store (link below)
for LOTS more fabulous dies!!

Pick A Pattern

Today at Double D we have a new challenge theme
with a new challenge 'mood board'
and it is
'Pick A Pattern'.

Look at all those lovely and fun patterns to choose from!

I went with the bottom left corner, second bowl up!
As soon as I saw this board I knew I had an old
Stampin Up stamp set "Seeing Spots"
that was perfect for the challenge!

I also knew I wanted the stamp to be flower centers,
so I grabbed one of my die notebooks (I have 5..yikes)
and started looking.
I came across the Sue Wilson Sunflower Bouquet
and it was like these two were made for each other...
I love it when that happens.

I first stamped 3 of the SU 'circle dots'
then lined up my die and cut!
The leaves are part of the die set.

I recently purchased the Spellbinders Hemstitch oval die set
and decided it was time to pull it out.

I stamped the 'flowers' and the sentiment by Elizabeth Crafts
with a Memento Dew Drop Ink Blue Danube.

Head on over to the Double D blog
to see ALL the fabulous designs from the team...
and there is a really cool prize up for grabs too!!

More Masculine Cards

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

The last two Tuesday's I have been showing
cards for Father's Day,
so this week I thought I would feature a few more
'masculine' cards but this time for other occasions.

If I had a 'hammer'...lol...are you now singing that song?
Well, these next two cards feature the
Tutti Designs 'Fancy Hammer'

This card would be great to thank someone that has been an inspiration!

The second fancy hammer card is somewhat of a
fun 'congrats' card!
Would even work for a graduation card.

This card uses a very sweet
Tutti Designs Father & Daughter die
but could also be used for a brother and sister.

Tutti Designs Fancy Shoes is the feature on this card
and I also used the Nesting Stitched Banner.

And lastly I have a fun birthday card using
Tutti Designs Mustache die...
I cut it twice...fun!

I hope once again I have given you some inspiration to use
all these fun 'masculine dies!

Paper Sweeties June 2019 New Release Rewind!

Today is the 3rd day of fun with Paper Sweeties
and it is the June 2019 New Release Rewind.

Proud To Design For

Not only am I using new stamps today
but I have used a few past stamps and dies as well.

The Mermaid Wishes set comes with a mermaid tail and top
which can fit any of your Paper Sweeties Girls.
I used Emma and just trimmed off her legs.
I stamped the tail, then used an embossing folder to add 'scales
and fussy cut it out.
Fro the top I added glue and Mermaid Glitter,
them when dry fussy it as well.

The starfish were stamped,
then I used a glitter gel pen for a bit of sparkle.

The clouds were stamped on a shimmery white card stock
using Let's Go To The Beach Stamp Set and
Sweet Cuts Let's Go To The Beach dies.

I also added a few Robin Egg Sequins here and there.
The texture 'waves' you see are a mixture of glitter and frantage
I had left over from a previous project.

Thank you for visiting with me today,
but make sure and hop on over to the other designers blogs
to see all their 'rewind release' projects as well.

Paper Sweeties June 2019 New Release Party!

It's here!!
Today is the day!!
The day of Paper Sweeties June 2019 Release Party!!

Proud To Design For

You saw my sweet crab card yesterday,
well today I have used more of those cute ocean characters
from the Sea You Soon stamp set,
See You Soon Sweet Cuts
and Mermaid Wishes stamp set.

If you visit my blog, then you know I LOVE to make shakers
and that is what I have for you today!

I cut a few circles (four to be exact)
then added a clear sheet of acetate behind.
A little and easy tip for making a shaker
is to cut your foam tape in half,
then peel the backing off before you add it around the circle,
that makes it much easier to move around where you want it

Once I had the tape in place
I added a few Paper Sweeties Robin Egg Sequins in each circle.
I added a piece of handmade paper to the back to enclose the
'shaker' sequins.

For the bottom two shakers I first added the mermaid tail inside (which I used an embossing folder on )
and the sea grass and shell on the outside,
all from Mermaid Wishes stamp set.

Thank you for visiting with me today...
now make sure and hop along to each designers blog
to see all the FABULOUS creations they have to share with you...
come back tomorrow too for the 'New Release Rewind '!!

Here is the blog hop list:

Summertime

Mid month means it's time for a new challenge theme at
Dies R Us Challenge blog and our theme is
'Summertime'!
Lots of possibilities for this theme'

Design Team Member At

I started my card by first making some background panels
on watercolor paper using Ken Oliver Color Bursts,
then die cutting from those once they were dry.
I love the combo of the different colors.

three times and stacked one on the other to give it a bit more stability.

Of course I had to add a few pearls as they just seemed to fit
my mermaid theme,
as we all know where pearls come from!

Below are all the links to the die I ahve used.

Paper Sweeties June 2019 New Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello my crafty and Paper Sweeties 'friends'!
Today I have a SNEAK PEEK of the new June 2019 stamp sets and dies!

Proud To Design For

Oh boy, did I have fun with these cuties!!
For my background I used some of the pigment powders sprinkled onto water...
I thought it made my Mr. Crab really stand out!
The crab is from the new set Sea You Soon stamp set
and the dies from Sea You Soon Sweet Cuts.

Speaking of 'standing out', he is an 'action' card and is on a wobbler...
just by grabbing his claw he will wobble.
I did it so many times I think I made myself dizzy..hah!
I tried to show you in the picture below.

I stamped the sentiment with Versmark,
then embossed with white fine detail embossing powder on the black card strip.

The coral grasses  and the starfish you see are part of the new Mermaid Wishes set.
I stamped then added peach bellini glitter to the sea grass
and stamped the starfish on sand paper,
then both were fussy cut out..
I also used Paper Sweeties Sequins Robin Egg

That's MY sneak peek for today, but make sure and visit ALL
the links below and hop along to see what the rest of
the design team has created...they are awesome!!

Bee My Friend

our hostess is Terri and she has chosen the theme of
Three B's...
meaning you can create with
Bee's~Birds~Butterflies
use one or all three...EASY!!

Speaking of easy, I did a very simple CAS card.
Last week you might remember my 'donut box'
I did with the lemon paper....
This paper is the backside of that paper
and I thought it was cute to use for my bee hive.

The hive itself is a die cut I colored with Copics
and the sentiment is an extremely old SU stamp from 1997.
Not sure of the name as it came from a garage sale
and it's the first time "I" have inked it!

Very simple and an easy mailer...
sometimes I like 'simple'!!

So head on over to The Sisterhood
and see all the fabulous designs from my 'sistahs'!!

Happy Father's Day Cards

This is  my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

With Father's Day being 'just around the corner'
I have a nice variety of cards to inspire you to hand make your
'man's' card something special.

For the first two cards I used the
Tutti Designs Mustache die.
OMGosh this die is so FUN!

This card is pretty self-explanatory ...
but I love the added little heart!

The second mustache card is for Grandpa...
and I framed it...kind of fun!!

This next die 'Tutti Designs Fishing Buddies'
makes the entire card with just a quick die cut.
It's all there for you and just needs a sentiment
and you have a beautiful card...
this die is also great for a young man's birthday as well!

Here is another version cut from a patterned paper...
sorry the watermark distorts it a bit, but we must use it.

The next two cards feature the
Tutti Designs Fancy Tie...how fun!!

I also use Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Rectangles on this card.

For this card I simply made it into an argyle sweater.

Don't forget ALL these 'manly' dies can be used for many
other occasions besides just Father's Day...have fun crafting!
