Lovely Dove

This is my post on the
Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi there!
Diane with you today with three fun cards using the beautiful die
'Lovely Dove'

This is the perfect die to use for someone you 'love',
a birthday, wedding, holiday or just about any occasion.

I have three different cards,
so lets get started.

My first card is using a simple hearts stamped background,
a paper doily lacy heart
with the dove being die from a white shimmer paper.

The second card has an embossed tree background,
and shows 'much love'.....
the dove was cut from a shiny polka dot white designer paper,
a few red glitter hearts were added.

Lastly, I have a card that would be perfect for a wedding.
I wish you could see this card IRL as it is full of shimmery goodness.
a rectangle was cut from a metallic/shimmer paper.
The Dove was cut from a pink shimmer paper.
A Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Hearts
was die cut and stamped with the word love.
Tot finish out all the shimmery goodness,
I added a silver shimmer bow.

Hey Chick

Today at The Sisterhood of Crafters we have a new challenge theme
being hosted by our 'sistah' TERRI
and she has chosen the fun theme of
Chicks and/or Bunnies.
So grab your chick/bunny dies or stamps and join in the fun!

Speaking of fun, I fired up my Cricut and cut this cute
using a SVG file from The Cutting Cafe.

I really decked her out
and a bit 'gaudy' I might add...LOL...
but I wanted to use up some of those 'store bought'
flowers that I seem to have a ton of!

I used scraps for her  'shell' at the bottom,
added a feather a scrap ribbon bow at the top!

That's about it, as my Cricut did most f the 'work' for me.

Make sure and visit The Sisterhood and see all the cute bunnies
and chicks my 'sistahs' have created!!

Flower Smile

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today

Hello Tutti Design friends,
Diane with your today with a fun die
'Flower Smile'

I made three different cards using this die.
The first one is created using an embossing folder as a background.
I simply die cute two ovals from
Scalloped Stitched Nesting Ovals
to layer and place my smile flower on.
I die cut the flower from green card,
then die cut the flower from a purple paper
and added a green gem to the center.

For my second card, I used rectangles from
and for a bit of variation,
I turned the smile flower on it's side.

The last card was pretty much created by using rectangles from both the
and

For a bit of variation from the other two cards,
I place a scalloped circle underneath the flower part using
I really like the added circle .

Wellies

Happy Easter All!
Not only is is Easter, but it just so happens that it is also
the day the design team comes together
all in one place at
to share all our projects!
(because of time differences, it will show up later in the day for some)

We are normally to have our posts up before the actual
group day, but I had an unforeseen delay.

Anyhow, this post is a rather 'special' one for me as during the month of April
some of the team joined in with Joy Clair to collaborate
Joy Clair stamps and The Cutting Cafe cut files.
I am double collaborating as I am
showing both on the same day as the group post.

Fun? You bet!!
For my project I chose from Joy Clair the cutest stamp set

I have always loved making these wellies
and as soon as I saw the Spring Stroll stamp set
I knew they were a match made in heaven!!

The Spring Stroll stamp set has many different stamps to choose from,
but you can see I chose a corner flower for the envelope
and the cutest wellies for my tag on the wellies.

I colored the boots in with Copics and added a bit of a stardust pen for sparkle.

I also added sparkle to the envelope corner flower as well.
The envelope is part of the Rain Boots~Wellies cut file.

From the same stamp set I stamped the sentiment inside.

Aren't these two just the cutest together?

So make sure and take a peak over at  The Cutting Cafe blog
to see all the fun projects from my 'teammates'
and check out the stamps at Joy Clair
and all the cut files (they come in PDF too)

Butterfly Kisses

Double D Challenge is back with a new theme.
Can you guess what it is?
Black and White of course!!

Thee is a fun mood board below just to get you inspired!

For my card (well actually I made two)
I used another favorite die of mine
(I know I say that all the time...but it's true...really!)
Memory Box Reverse Butterfly Collage.
I mean this die is so fabulous, it really does all the work for you
and can be used for almost any occasion!

The sentiment is from
Stampendous Spring Sentiments

I was so pleased with the first card
that I did a reverse of the reverse LOL!

I thought white on white cards were difficult to photograph
but this black one was hard enough!

I heat embossed the sentiment with Versamark ink
and SNS White Detail EB powder.

The sentiment is from
Elizabeth Craft Designs Little Words That Mean A Lot.

If you want to see some gorgeous and elegant
cards by our fabulous design teams
then head on over to Double D...
and there is a really neat prize up for grabs!!

Fancy Saw Cards

This is my post on the
Tutti Designs blog today.

Hi my Tutti Friends,
Diane with you today
with a fun die just perfect for that man in your life!

I have three cards to share today using the fun
'Fancy Saw' die.

The first card was created by using a somewhat 'manly'
designer paper to which I added a red piece of card stock.

I die cut a tag from  Nesting Stitched Tags
added a twine at the top of the tag.
The saw was cut from a silver metallic paper
and I die cut just the handle again from red and paper pieced it.
I made a computer generated sentiment,
'then added  a few silver 'candi' dots.

The second card is more a 'Father's Day' card
using an embossing folder and a few fun designer papers
that seemed perfect for a 'guy'.
The saw was cut from silver metallic paper,
then adhered to a Tutti Designs oval using

The sentiment was stamped on a

The last card was created using a spatter stamp for the background
and a rectangle from Nesting Stitched Rectangles.

The two saws were die cut from silver metallic papers.
sentiments and 'candi' dots were added to finish.

April Showers

A new day, a new challenge at
Dies R Us and our theme is
'April Showers'.

Grab our Badge!

Well, as they say
April Showers Bring May Flowers
so I went with that by using the cutest die
Cheapo Dies Boot Bouquet
It was die cut from white card stock
then colored in with copics.

I adhered the boot to a die cut square from
Tutti Designs Dotted Nesting Squares.

Of course the theme is April Showers
so I added a few rain drops.
The sentiment is from Stampendoous.

Happy Sunday!!
We have a cold and rainy day with 90% rain/snow mix...
yep I said snow and my Daffodils and Hyacinths just came into bloom...
not a thing I can do about it!!

So to brighten up the day here I have two
Tutti Designs Spring cards to share
in bright and cheerful colors!

The first card uses the scrolly bunny die,
clouds and grass are impression obsession and the butterfly is a punch.

The second card uses the Easter Flower Basket die.

Springtime

A couple more cards today featuring
Tutti Designs once again.

First card up is a Springtime one using
the Holy Crosses die.

The second card uses the Praying Hands Egg die.

Not much explaining of either card as you can see all
I did was add designer paper, flowers on both and a bow on one.

Easter Egg

With Easter fast approaching
I thought I would start putting a few of my
Tutti Designs Easter cards on.

Today I have a card that you really have to 'focus'
your eyes on the gingham print to see the design....
kind of a fooler.

Here is a second card I made using the same die,
which this one you can see the detail a bit better.
I added glitter behind the egg.

TUTTI-256 Easter Egg Scene
I'll be back tomorrow with a few Spring cards...
WAIT, what is Spring??
We haven't seen it yet, not sure there is really such a thing!!!
