Here we are, at the very end of 2016
I don't know about you but I am rather looking forward
to putting 2016 behind me and hope for a better 2017.

2016 was a rough year here,
granted it had it's good things,
but for me it had some not so good,
the death of my beloved dog Nellie,
my Mom being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer the same week Nellie passed,
the accident with the ATV my 15 year old grandson was involved in,
and just on the 28th of this month my credit card being compromised for a large amount of money.
Yep, I am ready to see the backside of 2016 for sure.

On a more pleasant note,
I was able to meet new 'friends' on new design teams
and working with a wonderful group of  women for the past year,
that has meant a lot to guys are the BEST!!

I also might have a 'little' surprise to show you in 2017,
and I have a new great grandbaby on the way, due June 28th
(yes, I am way too young for that...hahahahah)!!

Yes I am looking very much forward to a 'new' year.
Not really as I have had the same ones for the past 30 years....
lose weight, eat healthier, exercise, get organized,
well NONE of that has happened  yet so no resolutions for me
except for maybe in my DT obligations to get more organized and to work ahead
more then I am now.

I wish you all the BEST year ahead ever,
to be safe, healthy and prosper in all your wishes and dreams!

Just another quick note,
make sure and come back here at 9pm
to see the blog hop from the DT at
Sparkle N Sprinkle
as just by leaving a comment on ALL
the DT blogs (8 including mine)
you could win the ENTIRE release
and it is a wonderful one as always!!

Okay so moving on.....
Here are some of my favorites from 2106.....
a 'recap' of sorts!

See you all NEXT year!!

Diane, I am sorry you had such tough times in 2016. I hope 2017 is better for you. We had to let our nine year old Siamese go this past year. My heart almost broke. Each of your projects are gorgeous. Each one is prettier than the next. I am wishing you a healthy and creative 2017. Thanks so much for sharing your link. Big hugs, Kittie

I knew you'd had a tough year, Diane, but I didn't know about the credit card. I have a couple of other friends who were victimized similarly in 2016. There's a lot of bad people out there, but, as you've pointed out, there are a lot of beautiful people, too. I hope you run into more of the latter type in 2017. I love when folks share their favorites! These are all totally amazing and I remember each one and how I loved them at the time. Stay well, and keep your spirits up, my friend.

What a wonderful look back at some of your most gorgeous projects of the year!! I remember them and love them all!! I am so sorry 2016 had it's downs for you. I pray that the new year brings you all the joy and happiness you deserve, my dear friend. I hope you are able to get your credit card resolved. I've been there and it's such a nightmare. I pray that your mom is doing well and that your grandson is recovering daily. Big hugs sweet friend :)
