'Sweet As Sunshine" Challenge At The Shabby Tea Room

Happy Monday and welcome to a new challenge at
This weeks challenge is "Sweet As Sunshine"
using the inspiration photo below!

Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps.

I chose "Yummy Cupcake" for my digital stamp to work with.

Looks good enough to eat doesn't it?
I printed the cupcake 3 times, then paper pieced it.
For the frosting I used my Marvy Snow Marker.
You just apply it, then heat set it and it puffs up.
I think this is a pretty cool thing to have and
you can find one HERE if interested.

I added Sparkle N Sprinkle Gypsy Red glitter for the cherry.
The doily and fishtail banners are Cheery Lynn Designs dies.
The banners were cut from "snippets" of paper
from my "red" scrap bag.
Yes, I have all my scrap papers sorted by color,
organized, aren't I...lol!!

I embellished with a few sequins, buttons and a bow.The bow is made from SU Real Red Satin Ribbon
I have had in my stash forever (and it's almost gone now)!
The little square button is from a SU
Simply Sent card kit from 2006...
yikes, that button is 9 years old!

Now head on over to The Shabby Tea Room
and see all the other creations my "shabby"
teammates have to inspire you.

Entering the following challenges:
Pixie's Snippets Playground .... Week #184
Shopping Our Stash .... Baubles, Buttons or Bows

Fabulous card Diane! Love the cupcake topped with the frosting - a great idea! Tee, hee - I have the same stuff only I overheated it and it went a sort of caramel colour - been to scred to use it again :) Luscious bow as well!
