Summer At The Beach

First I want to say Happy 4th of July.
This week you will find me at our beach house on Lake Huron
so what could be more perfect then the challenge theme at
The theme is 'Nautical'!

I have put together a fun 'mood/inspiration  board'
just full of summertime goodness!

I bet you can't guess which part of the board inspired me?
I actually had something else in mind but this card just fell together so easily
and I LOVE it!

Using a Tutti Designs Banner die cut from a white linen paper,
I die cut the anchors and captions wheel from paper scraps several times
and added them to it.
The sentiment is from Bo Bunny's 'Life's A Beach' stamp set.
This is the stamp set I purchased with this challenge in mind.
At least I used the sentiment from it!
I finished with a red and white twine bow.

It is a MUST SEE at Double D as the Design Team has once again
knocked it out of the park...I just love our team!

Entering the following challenges:
Simon Says Monday .... Red~White~Blue
Simon Says Wednesday .... Red~White~Blue
Word Art Wednesday .... ATG

You certainly captured the mood board with this one. I love the linen paper that captures the material of a rug and the sentiment is perfect. Well done.

This card simply bowled me over the first time I saw it. The crisp, clean colors and design are so appealing to me. Love the sentiment font. At first I was so busy admiring your card that I didn't notice how perfectly it matched the awesome beachy deck floor covering in the board. Love, love it!

Love your card. So glad you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I hope you'll join us again soon. I want to leave you with the inspiration of God's Word in 2 Peter 3:9 which says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." Have a blessed week.
