Thinking Of You

Bleaching~Stamping~Embossing~Paper Piece~Die Cut

Dar from Dar's Crafty Creations asked me once again if I wanted to
join her in a challenge and I said...okay kind of hesitantly as
wasn't sure I would have the time.

I have to say this was really a challenge for me as I am totally cleaning
out my creative room and it is tore up and what I would nicely say
'under construction'.

That being said, nothing is anywhere it should be and all
my stamps are in a big mess waiting to be organized
which will happen once the room is clean!

I have yet to find my water brushes which I needed for this challenge
and had to 'make do.

I will probably give this a shot again at a later date
once I can find my brushes....
I have stuff stacked in the hallway so I can thoroughly clean. (what was I thinking?)

The stamp set used is a very old one from
Stampin UP set 'Itty Bitty Buds"
not sure of the year but it did retire in 2009.
The ink I used is Distress Ink Ripe Persimmon.
The biggest hint I can give you if trying this
is to make sure your ink is totally dry
before moving onto the stamping and
embossing part...oh the clear EB powder I used
is Clear Super
Fine Detail from Ranger.

If you want to know how to do the bleaching technique
CAS Mix Up has a video link on their blog.

What a cool technique and I love the color you used on this. Your card is super sweet Diane and well done for doing it with stamps you could get your hands on. Once your craft room comes back together I'm sure it will be a crafting paradise and you'll never want to leave. I really should do that to my craft room. Anyway, sweet, sweet card my friend and well done on this bleaching technique.

Well I must say, for having things all piled up and doing a heavy cleaning you sure did a great job with the time & stamps you found. LOVE the orange and what a great CAS design! Thanks so much for joining me in this challenge! I commend you for doing such a great thorough cleaning and stamping along the way! I need to do the same but I just KNOW I couldn't do both at the same time! LOL Thanks friend ... stay healthy!

I love it. Just enough bleaching to make those flowers stand out. Great colors too.

Wow, this is really super cute, especially considering you barely had the room to make it in. I love that you're cleaning and reorganizing your room. It's something I actually love to do, but when I did the big redo with purge, reorg, paint, the whole works when I retired... I was glad when it was done. Now it's easy to do a little bit as I go along. I'm sure you'll be happy with it!
