Circus Time

Today we have a fun new challenge theme for you at
The Sisterhood of Crafters and it is
The Greatest Show On Earth~
We want to see all your circus creations....
lots of ideas here, lions~tigers~elephants and so on.

I actually made TWO cards for this challenge using Circus stamps
from Craft Consortium.

The first is Mr. Lion colored in with Tombow markers.

I used Mr. Seal for my second card, also colored with Tombows

There is also a third image to this set I didn't use along with balloons
and a couple sentiments I will show at another time.

I was lucky enough to have a piece of Big Top paper in my stash I used for both!

Make sure to stop by The Sisterhood and see all the fun inspiration
from my 'sistahs' and join in with us!!

Fruit Basket

Here we are in the middle of August already and that means
all our produce and fruits are ready to harvest!

That brings us to our new challenge theme at Double D
which just so happens to be FRUITS AND VEGETABLES!

We have a colorful fruit and veggie mood board to give you some inspiration!

I have a habit of ordering new stamps/dies just for our challenges
(a good excuse to shop, eh?)

I did order the basket specifically for this challenge,
it is a layered basket stamp/die from Sunny Studios
that I stamped with Altenew inks Vanilla Cream~Hazelnut~Almond Butter~Milk Chocolate
in that order.
I know I will get lots of use from this set and really like how it layered!

The fruits are also a first time use that I have had for quite some time
and this is the first I have used them, they are from Yvonne Creations.  All were colored in with Copics.
The background paper is a newly required pad of Prima 'Fruit Paradise',
I love the vintage 'feel' of it.

Make sure to pop on over to the Double D challenge blog and see all
the fabulous designs from the design teams, amazing as always!

Swimming By

Hi All, it is time for a new challenge at Dies R Us
and I am showing another stamped image and die once again
using the Catherine Pooler cute Ocean Chums sets
(links are below).
Ths time I chose to use Mrs. Octopus in all her floral glory!'
Isn't she just the cutest??
I colored her with copics and use a Nuvo glitter pen to add some sparkle
to her flowers.
The porthole used is from Tutti Desgins.

I hope you will join us at our Dies R Us challenge,
it is as always an anything goes challenge
as long as you use a brand of die carried in the store.

Thank you for visiting me today!

Head on over to the Dies R Us challenge blog
to see all the fun creations from the Design Team
and join in with us for YOUR chance to win a DRU gift Certificate to the store!

For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts.

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

BOO

We are half way thru our challenge at
Two Old Bats and we hope you will join in the fun!

Below is a fun Mood Board to inspire you
and it's just that, you can create anything as long as it is Halloween themed!

I once again went with the mood board to create my card
letting the bottom right photo inspire me.

I once belonged to the Spellbinders dies of the month club,
I think it was back in September 2019 and this was their small die of the month.
Yep, this is the first time I have used it, about time I would say,
it also comes with a cute little trick or treat skeleton.
The BoO is also part of the set.
The little stripes on the legs are hand glued on, each tiny piece, eegads!!

The background paper is all one piece from DCWV Midnight Spell 2010
collection, eleven years old and I am finally using it!
The spooky tree is a die cut from Cottage Cutz I grabbed
from one of their sales, look at the cute little owl sitting in it!
The flying with is an old Martha Stewart punch.
The card is approx. 4 1/2"

Take a peek at Two Old Bats and see all the fun inspiration,
join in with us too!

Thinking of You

Time for a new challenge theme at The Sisterhood of Crafters
and it is LEAVES chosen by our former team 'sistah' Vicki!

I made a pretty simple card using a section of a stencil
from Simple Stories.

I used a never used before embossing folder for the background
and Lawn Fawn stamp and die for the sentiment.

Pretty basic card and not much else to say!

Won't you please join us at The Sisterhood
and take a peek at the beauty my 'sistahs' have created while there!

Handpicked Bouquet

Hello! And welcome to the Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop

with Altenew!

The purpose of this hop is to raise awareness of all the challenge blogs
out there. Isn't that great? Love the idea of knowing what's available.

The Sisterhood of Crafters has been invited to join the hop,
and I'm so excited to bring you some inspiration
from my Altenew products!

Did you know that Altenew has a weekly sale?
Normally the sale is up to 45% off the items they have listed for the week.
That is how I have built up my own Altenew collection
and that is also where I purchased this set from and the background washi tape as well.
Normally they offer the stamp and die as a set or you can purchase one or the other,
I prefer buying the set when available, the new sales start each Monday.

The set I am using today is Handpicked Bouquet stamp and die set
along with the 4 1.2" wide washi tape Gold Splatter Blush.
These wide washi tapes are just the perfect sizes for backgrounds.
I also used the Altenew ink cube sets Cherry Blossom and Green Valley
to ink my stamps.
