This is my post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.
Hi Diane with you today with a card I made using the newly released
Umbrella Friends digi set.
This set can also be purchased as a stamp set Umbrella Friends #851.
I have to admit that this card is a favorite of mine.
So simple in design but yet packs a punch.!
I used the pre-colored digi image for this card.
I started out by die cutting a Spellbinders die Devine Eleoquence
from white card over the image,
then placing it on a piece of Sticker Paper,
which left the intricate die cuts exposed on the 'sticky' side,
allowing me to add Orchid glitter.
I used a Glitter Brush to 'clean' all the glitter off the other areas.
Once that was done (pretty isn't it?),
using 1/4" Tear-ific Tape,
I adhered 3 of the 4 sides onto another card stock.
I made a 'pull out' tag for the sentiment.
Using the digi sentiment from the set, I printed it, then
using a Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Banner die,
I die cut the image out, then placing it on another larger banner from the same banner set.
The little flower was colored, then glittered with
A ribbon was added for the pull out.
I once again used the Nuvo Glitter Pens 'Northern Lights'
on various places on the image to add a bit more sparkle.
This was a fun design and will be a wonderful card for a friend.
Thanks for visiting with me today.

So stinkin' CUTE!!!! Love how you have colored those sweet images, and the die cut frame is perfect, as is the sparkly background. Oh, and I also LOVE the shadow effect with the stippling. I will remember this!!!!
Fantastic card, Diane! Love the tag showing your sentiment.
The cutest image and perfect in that die shape! It looks good as a pre-colored image and sure makes it easier. Love your design with the pull out tag. Clever, Diane!
