Sweet

After being gone for six days I am finding it hard to get back
into 'the groove' of things so to speak.
What a busy busy summer I have!
None of my many flower gardens have been touched yet,
I haven't planted any annuals or flower pots yet...
I do have 'most' of my veggie plants in though
(hoping to finish those tonight).
Friday is my sisters neighborhood garage sale
which I add to every year
and Saturday we have a soft ball game, a dance recital and a cookout to go to....
we are popular...heehee!!

I do have a 'sweet' card to share today...
a very simple 'sweet' card I might add.

I used a die from Tutti Designs that really doesn't need
much more then the die itself

I used a pretty gingham background paper from my stash
to set the die off
and a pretty gingham bow with flower button to finish.
If you visit and read my blog much
you know gingham a a place in my heart....
I just love it!!

Each summer is new in its experiences and treasures, isn't it, Diane? Lovely card with the happy gingham background and pretty die cut! Love the matching ribbon, too! Great card. hugs, de

Are there people who don't love gingham? This is so cute, and a simple card is just what you need to fit into your busy life. A game, a recital, and a cookout all in one day? Sheesh, I have a grad party tomorrow and I'm trying to adjust my time accordingly. You must go full bore continually!

First of all, I agree: that cake die is stand-alone... it's beautiful. Atop the gingham, it is a pergect summer birthday greeting! Bravo. Secondly, as I was reading your post, I echo your level of "busy"... really... this weekend both daughters have double-headers, and tomorrow one daughter has a double-header and the other daughter was invited to two birthday parties... all I can think is, "I need my craft time!" Lol! Hang in there! Thanks for sharing at Shopping Our Stash this week.
