Shabby Tea Room Challenge "Chevrons"


This week at the Shabby Tea Room the challenge is "Chevrons" and to use the colors blue,green, orange cream and brown!
I made a couple of cards...the first with an organza flower I made with a tim Holtz die......
I cut 4 layers of each flower (4 flower shapes~16 flowers).......
ran a needle thru the center with thread.....
and instead of using a candle to "curl" the edges, I used my heat gun......
the layered doily underneath is one I cut from my doily die....
the stamped green maple leaves I stamped 3 times and cut each out...
underneath all the layers is a vintage postcard stamp....
what I love about this stamp is the postmark if 1908 and it is from Michigan...
how bout that??
For my blue on the card I added two teal blue leaf picks.......
my chevrons are the rick rack!
