"Rainbow of Colors" at The Shabby Tea Room

Hello Monday Morning!!

Today brings us to a new challenge at "The Shabby Tea Room"
using the gorgeous photo below for inspiration and our theme is
"Rainbow of Colors"

This weeks sponsor is "The Paper Temptress".

Being I have a few birthdays coming up in May, let alone Mother's Day
I decided to make a pretty Spring gift tag using the gorgeous  papers
from our sponsor!

I first started with Lemon-Yellow Vellum to make my tiny, tiny tulips.
Wow, what a tiny die this was and very picky flowers to make....
but I kind of like how they turned out, and one thing about using vellum,
when shaping the flowers, it stays put!

I cut a pretty basket from Amethyst Mica/Metallic cardstock
to put my "tulips" in.

The basket was mounted on White Velvet card stock.....
I wish you could feel this...it is soft to the touch,
just like real Velvet!

A dainty doily was cut from Violet Metallic card stock.
The background paper is from Graphic 45.
OH, check out that tiny, tiny bow...
also a "fiddly" die to work with, but so cute!!

Head on over to "The Shabby Tea Room" and see all the beautiful creations
my teammates have made!!
Join in the challenge with us and "you" could win a $25 gift certificate from the
fabulous "The Paper Temptress"!!!

Gorgeous tag! Love that you added a doily. Your vellum tulips may have been fussy to make, but wow! I think they're worth it. Thanks for joining us at Let's Craft and Create.

Ohhhh, you have so many beautiful things into which you craft beautiful cards! Your yellow vellum tulips are just gorgeous, and I love the paper and die cuts! I have a fiddly little bow die like this and have only used it once because it was kind of a pain. I actually didn't envision it so small when I bought it. Live and learn. I'll have to give it another try.
