Encouragement

Our new challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters
for the next two weeks is being hosted
by our very talented 'Darlene' and she has chosen the theme
'Encouragement'.

As usual for TSH challenge I try my best to reach into my
older stash/scraps/pre-cut things to use.

I came up with this bokah panel I had
created a long while  back and never used and also a 12 x 12 sheet of quotes I have had forever
and it seems these two were made for each other.
I love it when that happens!

Here is the panel before I covered most of it up...lol

Very simple card that I mounted the bokah panel on a scrap of light green card stock
and the same for the quote.

I added a few 'candi' dots and a piece of wheat die cut....done!

I actually like how it turned out..lol!

Visit us at The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge
to see all the inspiring (and encouraging) projects
the Design Team has created.
We would love to have you join in with us.

Oh, my gosh, your bokeh background is amazing! I've never thought of layering the wheat like that, but it looks great. Your paper is perfect for it. Really love these soft colors. So pretty, Diane!

Can you hear me shrieking all the way down in FL? Diane, this is a GORGEOUS combination of elements, colors and sentiment - LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The wheat sheath is a lovely touch. I especially like that the sentiment is just slightly off center with the pretty rainbow beneath it. Your bokeh technique is amazing!
How nice to use something out of your stash like that - I enjoy doing that as well! I also like the dimensional dots to carry on with the bokeh theme! Beautifully done! xx
