Happy Birthday Cake

I have a birthday card today using a super cute
Tutti Designs die Birthday Topper.

This card basically started with the designer paper.
I had pulled a bunch of papers from my scrap bags and have them sitting on
my creative table, bound and determined to use them up.
I did a second card with this paper I will have on at a later date....
feels so GOOD to use some of this up, but I have a long ways to go lol!/

The cake image was cut from a scrap piece of glitter paper,
and I cut a few rectangles (one of which I embossed) using
the Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Rectangle dies.

On another note, I am working my way up to a new computer,
so am slowing trying  to unload everything off this one I can.
I am moving, then deleting my pictures and sending them to Shutterfly.
I thought it would be fun to add a few (random they will be) to my
'free day' posts, so you never know what you might see next...lol
I can guarantee most will be pets and/or gardens though!

So today I have 2 to share of my kitties.
(now I am sure I have had some of these on previous posts...but it's my blog and
I can do what I want...so there...lol!!)

These are 3 of our house cats left to right
Tessie, Chloe, and Soot.

Baby picture of Tessie in the bird bath.

and my beloved Nellie that is no long with us.
Funny, but I look at her pictures and I can still 'feel' her!

Oh your card is lovely but those photos steal the show! I love your kitty photos - What gorgeous cats! And sweet little Nellie... I know how heavy your heart is, mine too and never a day goes by without missing my girls.. Hugs to you and enjoy your new computer! I pay Dropbox to store everything I have just in case something happens so I can sleep at night and should I need a new computer it will all be there in the sky Lol!

Oooh, love those BIG polka dots! Cute card design with your birthday topper! That's a huge task switching all your computer stuff. I need to get some of my pictures off to Flickr. I pay yearly for unlimited storage. Even digis. I love how I can download the full size image in an instant. Shutterfly is my fave for making albums and stuff, though. I'm going to look forward to "family" pics. Don't forget now! That's a sweet little cuddle of kitties you've got there. One of them looks like our Marvin who is no longer with us. He was a character! Love the kitty in the bird bath, too. And Nellie... sigh... dear Nellie.

This is a great design, I love the layers and that texture. Pretty flower and the cake topper in gold is stunning! Sweet fur babies!

Love the photos of your fur children, Diane. Sharing photos of fur children who are no longer with us DOES bring back the happy memories, doesn't it? Nellie is sweet as can be. Love the antics of your kitties! LOL too cute.

Beautiful card design with the fabulous dotted theme carried throughout, right into the focal die cut for a birthday!

Happy Mother's Day!
hugs,
de
