Many Blessings

Today I have a very CAS card I did for the challenge at Mod Squad.
I try to do this challenge every time they offer up
A Gina K Designs prize
cuz I am determined I am going to win it..LOL.
I need some new  Gina K stamps as I only have 3 sets of hers
from way back.
the first set I purchased in 2007 as it was
'stamps for a cause'
created to raise money for research
for adults and children who suffer with diabetes.
My granddaughter Ally was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes when she was
eighteen months old, she is 23 now, a beautiful young lady!

This is the fun set of those stamps.

For my card I used a set called 'Friendship's Garden'.
First time I have used this set.
Both the Peace Lily and the sentiment are from this set.

I stamped it with Memento Dew Drop Inks Cottage Ivy and Bamboo Leaves.
I stamped on one of the wonky stitched die cuts I
recently purchased when Cottage Cutz had a half off sale.

I think this card would make a nice sympathy card.

This is FABULOUS and I love that wonky stitched border! Great thinking and yes ... perfect for a sympathy card. Isn't it fun to pull out those 'oldie but goodie' stamps sets. Ally is such a beautiful young woman!! She looks so much like her MaMa!! (who looks like HER mama lol) Thanks for sharing CAS inspiration ... I just might have to go in that direction today!

I have exactly one Gina K set and it was for an Alzheimer's cause way back years ago. Hmmm... think I don't have it anymore, though. Those are two very nice sets you have, and it's awesome that you finally used this one for the first time. Amazing how we can leave them sit so long, isn't it? I'm so done with that, but it's easy to get behind. This is really beautiful in its simplicity. Green is my thing and, yes, it would make a nice sympathy or thinking of you card.

Two GKD sets I never saw before. So they must have been before I discovered her line. I so love the card you made though and I hope you win one of these times. If not you, then me! LOL

Thank you for posting the photo of your granddaughter. She's beautiful, you must be so proud of her. Your card is beautiful too, a wonderful example of Clean and Simple! Good luck, I hope you win - I, too, am a huge fan of Gina's. Thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge

Beautiful card, Diane. Love the wonky stitching and great ink color. I don't have any Gina K stamps, but will definitely be adding some to my wish list. So glad you entered the Stinkin' Inkers challenge.
