What's Your Favorite Color?

Today is a new challenge theme at
and our hostess Darlene
has chosen
What Is Your Favorite Color?

It might sound a little crazy,
but I don't have one, kind of depends on my mood at any given moment
but if you happened to look in my closet you would see lots of
blues~grays~lime green....
so I chose YELLOW...see,
doesn't make sense does it...lol!!
I do like yellow though as it is a HAPPY color to me,
how can it not make you happy?

I also chose it as I had this little duck die cut (Cheapo Dies)
already sitting on my work table just waiting to be used
and when I went through my yellow stack of papers
I found this cute little duck print, it's old let me tell you...
about time I pulled it out and used a smidgen of it!

I tried to give my little duck 'feathers'
by first using a Versamarker pen here and there
and then embossing with SNS Daffodil embossing powder.

The sentiment both inside and out
(yep I even finished the inside of my card (barely) which is a big accomplishment for me) is from SU, stamped with
Dew Drop Memento Danube Blue ink.
The bow is a scrap I had left.

So, pop on over to The Sisterhood of Crafters
and see all the pretty colors my 'sistahs' have used...
join in with us, we would love to see your favorite colors!!

Oh yes, Yellow is certainly a happy color and your card certainly made me smile this morning! LOVE that background paper and love the ducky! There could be only one perfect finishing touch ... that beautifully tied double (or that a triple) gingham bow. Beautiful and sweet creation my friend! Have a great day!

Yellow might be my favorite, but I don't wear it much. You can't tell by looking in my closet. I wear a lot of purple, actually. Anyway, SUPER cute card, Diane! Absolutely adorable die and LOVE how you did the embossing on the ducky. That looks way cool! Darling ducky paper, too, and really cute with the polka dots inside.

Such a cute and adorable card and I do agree...yellow is such a happy color. One cannot help but be uplifted and especially if it is used in such a wonderful way as you did with this card.

I love this little guy so much. Yellow is a wonderful color, happens to be Donna Phelan's favorite. I'm kinda with you. I'm partial to purple, but kinda go with what the spirit hits me. Your design here is so stinkin' cute, just makes me smile!!!

How adorable is this!! What a cute dick and I love the BG paper with it. You know I have to agree about a favourite colour... It depends on what for. I mean I love blues and greens (not that you would notice haha!) But would I wear them? Tricky question!
It rained here finally and it's lovely and fresh... Boy did we need that downpour! Have a great day!
