The Cabin

Brrrr...we have another fabulous mood board for our
challenge at Double D and the theme is
'Let It Snow'.

Geez, there were so MANY ways I could of gone with this challenge,
but I think you will see right off which one I decided on!

I have had this die for a very long time, in fact it might have been
one of  my first orders I put into Dies R Us years ago!

I am sure this die from Tattered Lace called 'cabin'
wouldn't appeal to everyone, but since I live a log home
it appealed to me right off lol!!

But can't you see this used year round for all the seasons,
Spring flowers, Fall Leaves,  and great for a masculine card with pines and deer/rustic...
well anyhow, I love it!

I used a snowfall embossing folder (THoltz) for the background,
Memory Box Grand Forest Archway for the trees,
vellum behind the windows, paper pieced the doors and fence railings
and a red velvet bow to decorate.
I also added Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard.

Make sure to visit Double D to see all the amazing (as always)
creations from the Design Teams!!

Entering the following FUN Challenges:
Crop Stop .... Product store carries (TH EB Folder)
Memory Box .... Holiday Sparkle and Shine
Scrapyland .... ATG

Beautiful card, Diane! I love this log cabin die cut that you've used. It brings back childhood memories of our mountain cabin, one of my favorite places. Perfect, serene and peaceful!

I can see why this cabin is perfect for you, but I love it, too! There aren't many things that look more cozy to me than a cabin in the woods. How beautiful your snow scene is, Diane!

I love this scene, and your cabin. It loos fabulous snuggled between the trees. I lived in a log home several houses ago. It was always one of my favorites. Great colors for the home. The way you used them makes each part stand out.

What a cozy little cabin in your pretty winter woods! My brother lives in a log home (he built himself) and I always enjoy visiting his inviting place! Thanks for linking up to Cropstop this month!
