Already into May and since I am writing this early
I have no idea where we are at the moment with the pandemic...
just hoping we will be back on track soon!

Today would of also been my Mom's 93rd birthday.
I miss her terribly and so wish I could talk to her again.
Happy Birthday in heaven Mom!!

Being the first Wednesday in May also means we have
a new challenge theme starting at
Double D and it is:

any other colors INCLUDED on the mood board
with 'purples' the main focus

We have the beautiful mood board below to inspire you.

I have plenty of lavender stamps and dies
I could of used, but when I saw a great sale
at PowerPoppy and this stamp set came into view,
I new it was going right into my shopping cart.
It's a beautiful set with many stamp options and sentiments.

This was a super easy stamp to color.
I used Copics for the image and inked a
background panel to put underneath.

I liked the bit of gingham in the bottom left
photo of the mood board so added a scrap
to my card.

Make sure to visit the Double D Challenge
to see all the beautiful inspiration from
the design team...amazing!!

Entering the following challenges!
The Flower Challenge .... Monochrome

Watercooler Wednesday .... Feminine Twist

Word Art Wednesday .... ATG
Little Red Wagon .... Flowers

You are going to love how many ways you can use this stamp. You already have it displayed so wonderfully. All by itself it is colored so well, but the simple addition of the die-cut oval and the ribbon makes it so special and delicate.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Love that stamp and your coloring is PERFECT! WOW what an awesome background panel too ... soft & delicate just like your lavender. And of course you used gingham ... I would have been disappointed if you hadn't! LOL Lovely card my friend ... HUGS!

Simply breathtaking, Diane! The inked background looks like water colors. Love the simplicity and how the image pops on the white oval.

Oh, goodness, this is beautiful, Diane! I'm so happy you got this set. It is, indeed, easy to color and yours came out looking fantastic. I've used this set so many times I can't count. Now I have the digi sets as well. It's fun to have both and even combine them. You made this so dainty and pretty with the doily edge oval and the gingham. Really looks like the mood board. I know how you miss your Mom. Many times I wish my Mom was still here, but it was many years ago that she passed. Hugs.
