Pine Cones and/or Pine Trees

We have a fun new challenge theme and a fabulous
new mood board on the
Double D Challenge blog today
and the theme is
PINE TREES AND/OR PINE CONES

I have to tell you,
I created this card with some pretty OLD Stamps and Dies.
Of Course I went with the upper right corner to inspire me
knowing I could somewhat replicate it!

I had a hoop die that was just perfect!
The trees inside are from SU Noble Deer (2004) set
which I think almost everyone must own!

I used Stickles Diamond along the tree line
which seems to be picking up the green color...oh well I kind of like it!

The pine branch and pine cones are from Spellbinders Fall Foliage
and it is the first time I think I have used them (about time too).

So we would love to see your pine creations over at
Double D...come join us!!

Supplies used:
Stamps: SU Noble Deer
Dies: Neat & Tangled Hoop set
Spellbinders Fall Foliage
Paper:  Carta Bella Cabin Fever

So pretty Diane... I'm seeing a lot of new plaid papers and they looks really nice in the lighter colors... I hope you are well? We are all supposed to get mass tested here in Liverpool as we are in lockdown again... Not sure how it will work yet though. I'm thinking of you all over there with your election... Stay well xxx

That is an awesome hoop and I love that you used it in this scene. That line of stickles for the water is showy and really is grand!

I thought I recognized those trees! Yes, I do own that stamp set. How pretty this is with the embroidery hoop, which is a very cool die, BTW. Love this mood board!

Oh what a cute idea! I love how you honed in on that hoop and recreated in on your card. My daughter-in-love enjoys doing cross stitch so this would be the perfect card to send them. Thanks for inspiring us! Sending you hugs my friend.

Wonderful take on the challenge. I love that embroidery hoop, really shows off the trees. I think I have that die, will have to go check.
