Hello friends, it's that time again for a fun
challenge at
Can You Handle The Pressure
where your embossing folders make their debut!
We have an OPTIONAL theme and it is
Winter Fun!
Talk about fun I had some fun with these peeking snowmen
from Cottage Cutz! I die cut a fence with an
Impression Obsession fence die, cutting it down
to fit my snowmen peeking over the top.
These guys were pretty easy, EXCEPT I kept
losing the smaller pieces that I had to cut not once but maybe
at least twice again, geesh! But look at those cardinals,
the little black pieces and the beaks are each a tiny die cut piece.
The embossing folder I used is one of my favorites for
winter cards, Tim Holtz Alterations Snowfall.
The sentiment is from The Ton.
the downfall of living 25 miles off of Lake Michigan, we get hammered with lake effect!
Get your embossing folders out and come and have
some embossing fun with us,
you can choose to use the theme or any embossing
folder you want!

Those snowmen peeking over the fence are just too darned cute and I love all the falling snow in the embossed background too. You really got some serious snow already - we had snow showers on Thursday which didn't amount to anything at all. I hope you're feeling well these days and ready for Thanksgiving.
Oh my friend, these little guys are too too cute! What a fun scene you have created and WOW look at all that white stuff you got! Other than that little snow shower Thursday morning, it's wet & green here. Thanks for sharing the photos ... always beautiful winter scenes around your house! Hope today is a good day for you!!
I agree those little die cuts can be a challenge, but they sure do turn out wonderful! Those pictures remind me of our days living in Indiana (not far from where you are) and how much I don't miss the snow!
Thanks for sharing your pristine, snowy environs, Diane! Your views are beautiful, and so peaceful! We don't have that "blanket" of quiet beauty here, but we did get into the mid 30s, which is hardly ever something that happens in November! Your little snowmen look VERY mischievous, and sweet as can be! Loving the rosy cheeks, and colorful elements. hugs, de
Oh, I love these CC snowmen peekers! Some of those parts are itty bitty and can be excessively fiddly, but I go for the challenge and love it. You did such a great job in the end and they look fabulous! A favorite embossing folder, too. Diane, your particular snowy landscape looks like a wonderland to me. A dream! I understand the difficult particulars of living in that kind of snow, but ohhhh, it's so beautiful! Thanks for sharing these fabulous photos!
Welcome to winter, sure came in with a bang. You have more than us, we are just on the edge of everything. I love this sweet card, all those cute snowmen are just amazing. I also love their pink cheeks, and that adorable little cardinal is the perfect final touch. This is one of my favorites!!!
