Hello friends we have a new theme starting today at our
Double D challenge and it is RED!
We hope you will be inspired by our red mood board
but you can create anything as long as red is your focus
For my red card I used what has become one of my favorite newest
stamp sets form Simon Says Vintage Garden. This set is loaded
with not only beautiful images but beautiful sentiments as well,
a very useful set. The image was colored in with my Olo markers.
I used a Pink Fresh Studios stamp and die Perfect Sentiments
for my sentiment and Spellbinders Hemstitch Oval for the stamp placement.
The background die is Waffle Flower Lacy Layers 2. The little white butterflies
came out of my 'spare parts' container.
Make sure to check out all the beautiful creations that our

Beautiful with the bold red, scalloped edged background. The white oval and bright red flowers really pop against it. The color shading is perfect and the oval die cut is fabulous. Love those butterflies fluttering over the flowers.
That red just jumps out in the gallery! Love that paper with the soft dotting and scalloped edge! Your red flowers are perfect, too. There are so many fun details on your card. Thanks for linking your card up in the Addicted to Stamps & More "Make Your Mark" Challenge! Cathy ATS&M DT
This is gorgeous Di ... I can see why you love that stamp set! Your coloring is perfect and love your overall design! Such a sweet card that could be used for a variety of occasions! Well done girlfriend!!
I LOVE your design here. It's a classic set up with the focal against the oval against that patterned paper background. This is one is so satisfying to build, don't you think? Your pretty red flowers are just perfect for the challenge.
What a great oval diecut! Perfect for the stamped flowers.

That is lovely!
This is so pretty Diane! Such pretty flowers, perfectly colored, and the butterflies are such a sweet finishing touch.
I have this hemstitch die and I think you were the one that enabled me to buy it. I love it here and should follow your example and use it more. It frames the image of the flowers that you colored so well. I love the red scalloped background too. Nice job!
I have this hemstitched die and I think that you were the enabler for me. I should take a lesson from you and use it more. I love how it frames the beautiful flowers. That scalloped background in red is spot on and makes for a stunning card.
Gosh, these flowers are beautiful! Love your background paper and scallops, and the green sentiment with it. You made me look at the set. Wow! I shouldn't have, but I signed up for their kit of the month starting in March. I can fool myself into believing I'm not shopping 'cause it's automatic, ha! The things we do, right?
