Thank You.........

I kind of stepped out of my "norm" for this card.....
Was kind of fun actually...no pink...seems I have been using that color A LOT lately!
I saw a challenge at City Crafters...it ends tonight...
but I have had this card in my head all week....

A few years ago, my friend "Mary" from Primitive Seasons sent me a Stampendous  thank you stamp.
When I saw the challenge at City Crafters to not use any English ,
I remembered I had it....
it had a "thank you" on the end, but I taped over that before I stamped it..

The DS paper is Tim Coffey from K&Company.....
I thought the lily background would be perfect as well as the black cardstock.
I thought the bamboo shoots were another perfect addition...
I purchased them recently from Classy Cards 'n Such.....
Speaking of (that is how my mind works..all over the place)
this week at CCNS, the challenge is to make a Susan's Garden flower...
give it a try...okay where was I?.....oh yeah, I remember....

But here comes the "fun" part.....

I used Susan's Gardens mini lily dies for my flowers...
Whewie...I have to tell you, these little beauties are "te-di-ous.....
but oh so worth it when you get them done!!!

Do you want a chance to win this die??
I have blog candy and this lily die (well not this one, but one like it..lol) is the "prize"
But don't hate me when you make them...lol..as they are FIDDLEY!!
There is a video on Sizzix of how to do them
I used tiny little "caps" from some of my "flocking" to set them in to dry and keep their petals upright until they were set, then added the leaves after that.....
Go to my top post and read how YOU can win this die....

Entering this card in these challenges:

City Crafters .... "Do You Speak English"
and
Come and Get It Challenges .... Flowers Galore
and
Card Makin Mamas .... Stack It Up

This is gorgeous, Diane!! I love the beautiful papers!! Wow, I can't believe you made the flowers - they look amazing!! Well worth the effort it took to make them!! They look like you plucked them off the stem and added them to the card!! Love this my friend!!

I'm glad the snow missed you this time!! We had ice first, then the snow. Yuck. Have a great day :)

Wow! It's beautiful! You never know when you're going to have just the thing, right? I love pink, but I love warm colors, too. I'm so glad I don't have to choose between the two!

A different kind of card, but oh so beautiful. Love the design and the flowers. I find a lot of flowers are a pain to make, but end up so nice. Edna

If you ask me, you should win the challenge with this stunning card, Diane!! And I thank you for the great layout sketch to keep in my folder. I have that very TC paper (and several other of his designs) and I'm always looking for card layouts to use it! Hugs, Darnell
