Double D Challenge Black and White

Our one year
blogaversay/anniversay/birthday
at Double D challenges continues through January
with more prizes and a new theme.

Dar and her team are the hostess's this week
and have chosen the theme of
Black and White with no extra colors
and using the beautiful mood board for inspiration.

I love the black and white cards as they always seem so elegant and classy!

Funny thing about my card,
I was cruising through Dies R Us as there were a few things I wanted to order
and I saw this wreath and thought how pretty it was
and thought to myself, I like this so much I am surprised
I haven't ordered it before.
Then I thought hmmm, maybe I did, so I looked in my die stash
and sure enough I already had it...I guess that tells you I
have way too many dies....but working for a die company, that is bound to happen!

I used a 'new to me' Cuttlebug folder I purchased just before Christmas
and die cut the word celebrate, I cut it 3 times and stacked them one on the  other.

The little sparkle butterfly was cut from a glitter dotted paper.

Make sure and join in our challenge with us at
Double D as we have FABULOUS prizes being given away
and one was donated by Dies R Us themselves
and I am telling you, you will want it!!

Beautiful card, Diana! How did you get that curved edge? Love the die cut wreath. I think we are all guilty of not knowing or
"remembering" what we have in our stash!

Just beautiful Diane! Love your design and that new embossing folder looks fabulous! You know, I've had that same thing happen (ordering dies I already have because I liked it so much) ... next time I need to look in my stash to see if it's there before pushing the SUBMIT button! LOL

That is funny, Diane! Yes, I think maybe you do have a few too many dies. As do I. So many, in fact, I have a basketful I haven't even used yet. For shame! But so much fun! Your wreath is so cute! I love how the black stands out against the white. Cute little polka dot butterfly and pretty paper, all topped off with a gingham bow. And not a speck of color. Fabulous!
