Today I have a pretty simple card using up a few things laying around
like an embossing folder yet to be put away,
a die doily I rejected for something else,
a scrap of paper and an April Showers ephemera.

Here is my card.
So, what are YOU working on today?
I am sorting thru a few things in my creative room,
found some fun and interesting things
but basically have my cutting table all nicely cleaned and set up
as I had purchased a laminator and needed room for it...toys!!
Now to continue, it needs a major going thru, but no time for that now....
Have a wonderful weekend
and we set our clocks to 'Spring Forward" tonight..so will lose and hour!

LOVE that sentiment and those pretty, pretty flowers! Such beautiful colors!
So very beautiful with all those layers and fantastic spring colors. I like that sentiment too and say it a lot when the April rains fall.
WOW! This worked out beautifully! Isn't it fun to create with what we have laying around! I've been doing a lot of that lately! LOL (obviously I need to clean up a little more often! lol)

The best word for this card is simply sweet. I love all the elements, they work so perfectly together. The texture in the background and the gingham border are perfect with the little flowers. I LOVE this!
Brilliant EF Diane, and love the combination colours. Your little sentiment is just so lovely, you are indeed waiting for spring hey, well our Autumn is here but this week it's still swimming weather...yay...xx [aNNie]

So pretty with the flowers and embossing! I am ready for spring! Glad you joined us at FMS!
I love how you put this all together with your spare parts! It really helped you clean up your table. Well, maybe it only helped a little bit, but every little bit matters. Pretty with the stitched curve and doily and ephemera and embossing. I love my laminator! I used it a lot for recipe pages I designed with clip art on the computer, and still use it for bookmarks. It's a cold laminator. Works like a charm. What am I working on today? Well, hopefully I'll photograph a couple of finished cards and then start coloring some more new stamps from my recent shopping spree. This time change... I don't like losing an hour, but I'll enjoy our after dinner walk while it's still light outside.
What a sweet card! I love the embossed background and that pretty sentiment! I can't wait for some April showers and some May flowers! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
