Do you save all your scraps of papers?
I have 12 x 12 ziploc bags for each color
and they are FULL!
So, one day I sat down and decided to make a few scrap cards
using only scrap pieces, it was a fun and relaxing day!
I also used my Pinterest Scrap Card Inspiration board.
I have around 88 pinned, and decided it was about time I
use that as well. I scrolled all the way to the bottom
and started from there...fun!
I managed five cards before I got bored
and here they are:
The first card I cut the scraps with a Cheery Lynn Designs Fishtail banner die.
The bow and sentiment were 'rejects' from another project.
The second card all I added were a few other 'rejects',
the MS punched flower and the sentiment.
The third card is pretty self explanatory,
using a circle punch.
Fourth card, same as above, but using a bigger circle punch
And the last , my 'struggle card'.
I just could not get those punched hexagons to line up for me
but decided to show it anyways (that was when I quit).
This is the type of card you would give to a
'non' card-maker as they wouldn't be so critical IF they noticed at all...LOL!
So, that is the start of my scrap cards, only 83 more to go....
yep, I plan to let my scrap board inspire me even more!!

Oh how wonderful, great use of all of those scraps! All of your papers and designs are so pretty! I used to save every little strip of every little DP...not so much anymore, I have all the paper I will ever need, but of course I keep buying more--you know, just in case lol
Oh my gosh, they're all so fabulous!! I have drawers and drawers full of scraps...I need to follow your lead!! I love the designs of each of these!! Thanks for the inspiration!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Oh, YAY! How wonderful and FUN! I love designer paper and I love all these colors and designs! This card maker wouldn't have noticed any problem with the hexagons. They look good to me. I do keep every little scrap, but they're all kept in the storage bag with the paper pad they came from. I keep telling myself I need to do this with my textured paper scraps, 'cause those I keep in separate color bags. I had to go look at your Pinterest scrap board. Wow, you have a lot of boards and all so nicely categorized. Mine are way too general. Someday I'll have to reorganize. Ever since my laptop died I don't have a computer in my room, except for a small tablet and it's sooooo slow. My phone is faster. I think a laptop needs to be my next purchase. It would be fun to refer to all that awesome inspiration. Doesn't work so well with the computer in the living room. What a great post, Diane, and really inspiring! Long comment, huh? Sheesh!
I love all of them and including the struggle card. I think it is amazing the wonderful cards you created with scraps. I did that one year for Christmas as far as I could before going to other options. So, yes, I do save scraps too! Even tiny pieces of foil and glitter paper as when they are punched out they make great looking embellishments with elegance on a card.
Wonderful inspiration on using scraps. The hexagon flowers are my favorite. I have lots of scraps but they are solid colors. For some reason, I don't have much in the way of pp scraps. Have a great afternoon.
These are AWESOME! So pretty and happy! What fun designs too! GREAT JOB ... thanks for SCRAP inspiration!
What a fun stash! Great use of the scraps - and actually the last one is my favorite!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these - every single one of them. So much inspiration, thank you for sharing. Now I have to go look at my scraps!!
Super use of your scraps, and what gorgeous cards too..well done as I admire each one of them. I don't have many scraps, give them all to a young girl I taught card making, two years ago when she was 12 and now makes beautiful cards with all of my scraps.xx💖 [Aussie aNNie's Blog]
