Time for a new challenge at
and Darlene is our hostess and she has chosen the theme
"BIRDS".
I love being on a design team where I can use ANYTHING I want.
That gives me the opportunity to use all kind of neglected things from my stash.
One of those very neglected things are my stamps!
I seem to gravitate more and more to the dies.
So, all that being said, you will be seeing more stamps used
for design teams such as this one...hooray!!

This is a big 6 x 6 card. I wanted the base to be white,
but I didn't have any 12 x 12 white card,
so I cut the card from a pink card stock 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
and added a 6" piece of white to the back of the card.... a bit different.
The die cut the bird is stamped on as well as the sentiment is a
I added Bubblegum glitter to the blooms
and Gecko glitter to the leaves,
then used a Stardust Gelly Roll pen on the nest itself.
I think you can see that in the first picture better then this one.
This pretty Spring card is sure to cheer anyone up!

Pretty, pretty in these sweet spring colors with all the sparkle! Layering on the white is a brilliant solution for the card base and adds another element of fun. Your embossed pink is a great choice, and you used one of my favorite banner dies which I bought soon after the first time I saw you use it here. Such an enabler, tsk tsk. Now, let's talk about that stamp... oh, my gosh, I love it! Bird and flowers -- swoon! I'm thrilled at the prospect of seeing more of the stamps in your collection. I know you've got some awesome ones just waiting to be inked up for the first time or inked up again. Stampendous... sheesh, just received a sizable order from them. Lots of shopping lately. Challenges always seem to make me reach for the older stuff, but love that, too. What fun today, Diane!
This is so gorgeous, Diane!! I have bluebirds that live in one of the birdhouses and I love to watch them feed their babies :) The colors are beautiful!! I love the hanging hearts and the embossing!! It's so stunning!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Diane, this is so pretty! It reminds me of some of those beautiful American Greeting cards I used to love (before I started making my own!). Your pretty blue bird looks so peaceful in her little nest. (She has to be a girl due to all of the glitter and that adorable pink banner!) I'm ready for Spring, too. The snow can come as long as the sun does, too. It's been a long winter here in Michigan. Great card, sis!
