A True Friend

Tons of new stamps and here I am still using my
older ones lol!
I have been in the long slow process of removing all my
SU stamps from their wood blocks so I can stamp with
them on my stamp platform...how I love that thing!
I am using the Avery Elle stamp bags
and by doing this it is saving me so much space,
space I drastically need!

This stamp was one of those,
I stamped it four times to get a perfect image.
Not sure of the name of it, but is was one of their background stamps
and I have always loved it.

The sentiment is from SU Simple Friendship.
Hard to see but I added a bit of a Nuvo glitter pen to the flowers (orange) for a bit of sparkle!

(Dang it... Just deleted my comment...) this is beautiful! I clicked to see the detail and it was amazing! Thank you for sharing this beauty at SOS this week. (Also, way to go on your *little* organizing endeavor!)

Talk about amazing, lovely colours Diane, and the additional orange. I have been doing the same with my stamps, no more wooden ones and it sure makes life easier for storage too.xx💖 [Aussie aNNie's Blog]

This is so very gorgeous and the pop of orange is fantastic looking on it. I can see where having the wood mounted stamps made to work with your stamping platform is a real asset. I gave a good portion of my wood mounted stamps away but did keep certain lines of them such as my Stampscapes.

It's called "Floral" and it's gorgeous! I still have it, too, and used it a lot in the past. I've colored in the whole dang thing before. Love how you did kind of a spotlight thingy with those few orange flowers. It's good to see the oldies! I'm sitting here with all this new stuff, too, and still reaching for the old familiars, 'cause sometimes they're just the thing I need. That's quite the organizing project you have going on! Exciting! If I don't unmount some of the wood blocks I have in drawers I'm going to have to purge again pretty soon, sigh...

LOL ... Leslie beat me to it ... I have that 'SU Floral' stamp sitting right in front of me and I think it's so beautiful but haven't stamped it in years because like you ... it never stamped very well and got frustrated. I just might have to pull this one off the wooden block like you did so I can use it again ... BEAUTIFUL JOB ... thanks for inspiration in more ways than one!
