Well here we are already into March
and that means Spring is just around the corner..woowho!!
It also means a new challenge over at
Double D Challenges and the theme is once again an easy one
'Let's Make Some Music'.
I have created the 'mood board' below to get us all inspired!!
Gosh I had so many ideas for this challenge
but ended up making this simple and super easy card to mail.
I embossed the background using an embossing folder
I have had forever.
The stamp is from Impression Obsession
and has been a favorite of mine
and is one that has actually seen ink before....
amazing!
It was simply stamped in black,
then just added some color to the Rose.
I added a bit of Stardust gelly roll pen to the Rose.
I framed with a 'new to me'
Paper Rose Stitched Rectangle Frame die.
I cut the frame from Recollections Sophia
metallic paper.

WOW I've never seen a stamp like this ... simply beautiful!! I thought you had stamped onto musical paper and cut it out. You've achieve a wonderful dimensional illusion and that sweet frame is just perfect! GREAT job!
Oh there is music everywhere on this beautiful card. Love the bird as they sing to us their gorgeous melodies and the rose is a perfect touch.

Fantastic musical design with the bird image you used and the embossed background. I love the accent color used to frame the design too. Wonderful coloring of the flower.

Wow, this bird would be one of my favorites, too! It's soooo beautiful with the music print and the flower! I think I just got an idea for a Christmas card. I know, go figure. Fantastic, Diane!
Wow, what an awesome stamp. LOVE how you have colored that flower, and I also LOVE the colors. Kraft/tan and pink are so pretty together, especially when you have added that texture to the background. I really like this card!
