Ready for a new challenge at
I hope so because the 'sistahs' are
and it is being hosted by our very talented 'Sistah Katy'!
She has chosen the theme of
Fun Folds and/or birthdays!
I actually was going to add a birthday to my fold
but totally forgot until I came here to write up the post!
I went with a very fun AND easy fun fold,
a shelf card.
There are many different varieties and names for this
but because I perched my bird on the 'shelf'
I am calling it a shelf card.
I wanted my card to be sturdy to not only stand on it's own
but to be able to hold the bird up as well,
so I went with 110# card stock from Michaels.
The bird stamp and die set are from Cottage Cutz
Sparrow on Post.
These sets can be purchased very reasonably
when they have their periodic sales.
The sentiment is from Elizabeth Crafts.

I don't think I've seen a shelf card before... That's cute! Beautifully done. Hope you are getting better weather... The sun is shining here once again and we love it! I know it won't last but Gingerboy is making the most of every minute! Stay well and catch this hug...
I've never seen this fold before - it's really fun - does it fold down flat for mailing? The little bird stamp is so cute and a lovely sentiment too!
This is so sweet and such a clever design. I think I've seen this style of card before but have never made one. I'll have to put it on my list of things to try. Your bird image is colored so beautifully!
