Happy Mother's Day

Hello my friends!
As I write up this post (March 6th...yes, I work way ahead lol)
it is a blustery morning, so much so I hope the power stays on!
They are predicting 15 foot waves on Lake Michigan
and that is always a site to see!

Today is also a new challenge theme at Dies R Us challenge blog and it is
SPRING FLOWERS

Goodness, I have so many flower dies (4 books of them)
making it very hard to choose.
But, I have always loved the look of 'doodle flowers' so that is what I chose
Sue Wilson's Stitched Doodle Flowers.
Aren't they just the cutest ever?
They look like felt, but they are cut from scraps of card stock..
I used the new Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Postage Stamp die to make a frame
by stacking one inside the other, then die cut .
I used the center from that for the inside.
To stamp the sentiment I used
Memento Dew Drop Rose Bud Ink.

This card is a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 square..a cute little size
to send for Mother's Day.

Here are the links to the dies I have used.

Make sure to visit the Dies R Us challenge
to see all the fun and fabulous creations from my
'teamies' and while there...join in with us!!

:
We have some exciting news to share with you. Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts.

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

Oh yes Diane, these flowers are so cute!! The remind me of penny circles that they used to make using old wool clothing waaaayyyy back before my time. I've just added a new die to my ever growing wish list. Your card is super cute and totally inspiring.

Wow! Another incredibly happy, pretty, colorful, awesome card! Four books of flower dies? How I would love to visit your craft room! I've been having the most fun with dies lately. Coloring hasn't been going well, so glad I have all these new Cottage Cutz dies.
