Weddings Challenge

It's time for a new challenge theme at
Double D and it is
WEDDINGS!

A good theme for the month of June don't you think?
We have a special mood board just to inspire you.

I had an order for a card for a destination wedding in the Florida Keys
and she wanted it to somewhat represent that.

Both love boating, though speed rather then sail
I still thought this card would be good for them.

I used my gorgeous paper pad from Mintay called Paradise.
The Mintay papers are so beautiful that you don't need much more then that.

What you can't see is that I touched the flowers, leaves and a few other places
with a Stardust pen, adding a bit of just the right amount of sparkle.
I chose this paper as it had both a pink and a blue sailboat
and felt it was great for a couple.

For the inside of the card I did a computer generated sentiment.
I also made a matching envelope.

So, you need to pop on over to the
Double D challenge and see all the beautiful wedding cards from the Design Team!!

I think that I enjoy making special cards the most I can see that you do too, as this one has so many details for the special couple. A perfect wedding card that they will cherish.

This makes a beautiful set and I know whoever you made it for was just thrilled. Such pretty paper with just the right amount of extra touches. I went all the way back to my room to see if this was the same Mintay I have. Yes, and I've never used it yet, for shame. I need to design a card around it. Gorgeous!

What a perfect card for a destination wedding. I love that you picked a nautical and beach-y theme. Beautiful soft colors and embellishments. This creation came together beautifully!!!
