As most of you know I have been gone most of the summer
and other then my DT work didn't get to work on my card making much.
I did however take some things to mess around with
as I couldn't stand total paper crafting withdrawal!
Some of what I took was to make backgrounds,
stencils~powders~inks and such.
So this card is one of those using a new stencil I purchased
and absolutely love for it's tropical look
(another thing while gone...lots of internet shopping for new 'things')
The stencil is from Pretty Pink Posh
and it is Jungle Background.
I used various inks to stencil it and then the sentiment and die
are both one of my new purchases.
The die is from Pretty Pink Posh and the sentiment is
Pink Fresh Studio 'Simply Sentiment Hello'.
I'll be back with more of my handmade backgrounds
at some point!
It is also my 'loves' birthday today, he is three.

Oooh, the color grabbed me right off, and then I just have to love the stencil and the die that cuts a stitched narrow strip. It was a good idea to take background-making stuff with you. I haven't been anywhere and have still managed to do plenty of that internet shopping, sheesh.
Oh, for crying out loud, I forgot to wish Mack a happy birthday!!!! He's looking very handsome and lovable. LuLu turned 9 yrs on Sept. 12. Wally turned 11 in June. I know! The years go by too fast!
