Winter Blues

Hello all!
This is my first card I have created in the last
FIVE weeks do to being sick with a virus for that long.
I want to apologize I haven't been to visit and comment during
that time but not much I could do about it
but I have seen your beautiful work while looking at my Kindle Fire
while bedridden.
That being said, I hope to get back to the 'norm' and visit you all soon...
don't give up on me lol!

It is time again for a new Double D challenge and the theme is
'Winter Blues'.

Not having much mojo after five weeks I made a pretty simple card!
I have had this die in my stash for awhile and decided now
might be a good time to put it to use since my creativeness
seems to have left me for a bit!

I used a snowfall embossing folder for the background .
The die is from Cottage Cutz Birdhouse With Vine.
The sentiment is SEI Winter Song stamp set..

Make sure to visit the Double D challenge blog
to see all the beautiful Winter Blue creations from the Design Teams!!

Awww, you have this die, too! I love it and I really love the CASness of your card. Nothing wrong with CAS, that's for sure. So cute, Diane! It's good to see you today. It's been a wild ride for you, but I'm so happy to know you felt good enough to create this adorable card. Take it easy, now. We love you!

I love the embossing folder and the gingham on the birdhouse, but that cute bird perched on the sentiment steals the show. Glad you are feeling better. Make sure not to overdo now that you see light at the end of the tunnel.
