It's A Girl Thing Turner Syndrome Blog Hop

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Welcome to my project for the "It's A Girl Thing: Turner Syndrome Awareness 3rd Annual Blog Hop and for this year we have added a Card Challenge so that more people can play along with us!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born missing partial or all of her second X chromosome leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities.  This condition occurs one in every 2,000 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term.  That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

Prize Winners will be announced on March 13th, 2021.

23 Caring and Generous Sponsors and 12 Design Team Members are offering prizes to a commenter and card makers and they are helping bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public.  For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page.  Thank you for learning about Turner Syndrome.

My TS related project is inspired by the TSF Mood Board

Wow, what a great opportunity it is to learn about
Turner Syndrome, something I knew nothing about until I joined this group
three years ago  Did you know:
.Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born missing her second X Chromosome, leaving her with life long medical issues. It affects 1 in every 2,000 to 2,500 girls but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to term (miscarriages and stillbirths). TS is named after Dr. Henry Turner, who discovered the condition in 1938.
I didn't either until I joined this hop, lots to learn here not only about Turner
Syndrome
but the life long journey/commitment it entails! I know it is mentioned above, but I thought important enough
to mention once again!!

For my card I used one of the digitals created and designed by Jan Mayhew,
so cute and sweet and perfect to represent our
It's a girl thing hop/challenge!
If you would like the digital set yourself you can find it HERE
and best of all, ALL sales from this set will go to Turner Syndrome!

I printed my fairy rather large as I knew I wanted to create a
slimline card.  The dies are Spellbinders.  I stamped the sentiment
using a stamp from my days at SNS.
I added the bow as I will be hand delivering this card to my
granddaughter as she has a birthday next month
so no postage needed!

I also have a prize to give away to one lucky commenter,
just read the rules below and you will be entered to win it!

My prize is a fun
girlie stamp set from Spellbinders called
'Hey Foxy'!
Here is how to win a prize from the Blog Stops:
To be eligible to win a prize from one of the Card Designers Blogs
You have to leave a comment on each of the Designers Blogs. You could possibly even win at more than one blog.
To be eligible to win a prize for the Card Challenge:
You have to make a card, write a blog post that includes the details and supplies used to make your card, something you learned about Turner syndrome (It can be just one sentence) and link your post back to the “It’s A Girl Thing” Turner syndrome Awareness Card Challenge. Cards should be feminine and have an uplifting or encouraging message.

You can find all the designers blogs and the challenge at Lori's home page HERE remember to read all the rule of how to enter (above)!

I certainly hope you will join along with us for our challenge/hop.
Thank you for visiting with me today!
